BASF showcases new herbicides and seed traits at Midwest plot tour

BASF hosted a plot tour at their Midwest Research Farm in Seymour, Illinois this week to highlight recently launched products and innovation in their pipeline.

Brownfield interviewed Brady Spangenberg, BASF Marketing Director for US Ag Solutions for some insight on what they learned from the 2022 growing season, what they are watching for the 2023 season and things they are preparing for the 2024 season.

Agronomist Greg Ury is based in Illinois and Missouri. He spoke to attendees about new soybean varieties through their Xitavo brand.

Technical Service Representative for Missouri Jared Roskamp focused on new innovation in the BASF soybean herbicide portfolio.

Seed Treatment Technical Representative Nick Tinsley highlighted the benefits of their soybean seed treatments and formulas to combat yield robbers like Soybean Cyst Nematode.

And Tech Service Representative Mike Probst answered questions about their newest corn herbicide Surtain that was launched during the 2023 Commodity Classic.
