Growth Through Adversity

I wrote this two years ago but never released it until now. Ezra will now be 3 years old in July, and King turned 10 in January. However, I think this post is still very appropriate with the exception that Ezra has calmed down some – instead of being a toddler he’s now a teenager LOL and oy! Still, he and I are growing in our relationship – but he definitely still tries to push himself up the pack ranking even though I can tell you, that ain’t gonna happen! So here’s the post:

These two. King and Ezra.

King (American Bully breed), always looks morose in photos especially if another dog is with him coming up on his 10 year birthday soon.

Ezra, (Carolina Dog) is ALWAYS over the top excited. He’s work let me tell you.

Where are they here? In my workout room vying for attention. Both truly are sweet boys, super smart, very handsome, and cuddly although you’d not know it to meet them at first glance.

BOTH are growly – they tend to communicate in all types of growls, especially with ME. Both are energetic, but especially now Ezra because he’s only 2. King can still run zoomies though and is fast! Both make me laugh and both can try my very last nerve so I keep needing to get new ones – nerves that is.

Hands down they’re the two most challenging dogs I’ve ever had at a time when the world is having a very hard time – but wow do I love these two!

They’re my level up. They’re who God is using to help me grow – because I didn’t want to anymore. Good thing they are persistent. They’ve taught me to growl at the enemy…well actually they taught me to growl lol and Rick Osborne of TranzformU, taught me to growl at the enemy in a very transformative way for me (or anyone taking the courses).

Wings of Transformation

All this to say that sometimes the very thing we’re struggling against, resisting, may be the very thing needed to move us forward.

King is my music dog and doodle bug. He brings the music out in me. Ezra is my worship dog and love bug – he brings both out in me. I never would’ve guessed it, but God knew and knows. He always does, after all He is THE Creator!

Here is what transformation is all about…

BUTTERFLY ADVERSITY – think about what THEY go through to become beautiful butterflies. They start off as gross larvae aka caterpillars.

I love having a growth or rather a “transformation” mindset. Scripture tells us to be transformed by the renewing of our minds in Romans 12:2. Why? Because it means there’s always room to grow and that anything is possible! I know with God anything truly IS possible – no matter the limitations of our natural world, He supersedes all of that and always for the GOOD.

Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ saith the Lord of hosts.” ~Zachariah 4:6

That’s all for this time…I hope it encourages you in some way.

Until next time…

Have a PAWSitively, tail waggin’, NATUROPATHICALLY healthy day!
