Record Store Day celebrations around Miami

Record Store Day is back and there are several record stores around Miami celebrating on Saturday, April 20, 2024.

Here's what's happening at…

Sweat Records 5505 NE 2 Ave., Little Haiti
For the exclusive releases, general Sweat RSD rules apply– one copy per person per title, doors open at 10 a.m. and anyone in line before 9 a.m. will get to “call” one title which will be reserved for them, while supplies last. They'll also be serving complimentary frozen lemonade, Minnie's empanadas, Topochico mineral water, Smart Water and select beers while supplies last.

RSVPing on Eventbrite is *not* for a place in line, it's first come, first served as always. Event is from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Lucky Records at 143 NW 23 St. in Wynwood:
Find exclusive Record Store Day releases at 10 a.m., dig through dollar bin boxes and enjoy DJ sets throughout the day and shop at the ACE Flea market on the patio. Event is from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Technique Records at 880 NE 79 St., Shorecrest
Stop in and find exclusive releases on Record Store Day plus plenty of used arrivals, music by a variety of DJs and performers in their Outdoor Lounge and complimentary beverages and food for sale. Event is from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Yesterday & Today Records at 9274 SW 40 St., Miami
Celebrate RSD with free beverages, drawings for choice vinyl and spend the day rummaging through boxes of reduced priced records. Event is from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
