I have THE BEST RESOURCES FOR ZERO-PREP ELL LESSONS, The Best Places To Find Free (And Good) Lesson Plans On The Internet and The Best Sites For Free ESL/EFL Hand-Outs & Worksheets , THE BEST COLLECTIONS OF INSTRUCTIONAL STRATEGIES FOR ELLS – HELP ME FIND MORE!, as well as the BEST LISTS OF THE WEEK: LESSONS & LESSON-PLANNING, but I realized I didn’t have a specific list for more extended ELL lesson plans.

I’ve also posted The Top Blogs and Resource Sites For Teachers Of English Language Learners over at the British Council, and many of those blogs also share good lesson ideas (also see UPDATED & REVISED: THE BEST ESL/EFL BLOGS – SHARE YOUR FAVORITES!).

Here’s a very beginning list, and please let me know who I’m missing:

EFL Creative Ideas

Base English looks like an excellent free site to find lessons for ELLs.  They’re divided by proficiency level, include videos, and gap-fills (clozes) you can use with them.  It also has a good online test learners can use to identify their English level.  It was created by Elton LaClare, a professor in Japan.

Talkmor Learning Hub has lots of free ELL workshops, and also includes teacher notes about how to use them.
