There is urgency to shift from Training to Talent Development. Investing in employee development is important, but it can easily go to waste if there is a disconnect between training and other HR systems. Moving from Training to Talent Development means engaging other players responsible for spotting talents, training them, managing their performance, and preparing them for bigger responsibilities in the organization. Establishing an effective integrated strategy requires paradigm shift and championing from organizational leaders.
This event brings together HR and Learning and Development Heads in a learning conversation to co-create the Philippine Talent Development Framework. We have invited experts in the field, Talent Development Leaders who pioneered the organizational practice to help us appreciate the concept, the challenges in initiating it, and its long-term reward to organizations. By attending this summit, those who make that important decision of investing in people will have better perspective of how to use their resources in effectively developing talents.
