It's the Final Countdown at Impression Obsession! {Sniffle! Sniffle!}

Things are quickly winding down at Impression Obsession, and none of us want to say goodbye! If you've been holding out for the sale to hit rock bottom . . .it's TIME friends, and time is running out.

At the time I'm writing this, the stamps on today's cards are still available, but be warned... items are selling out fast, so don't wait to sweep through the IO shop and grab everything you want before it's too late!

I know we're all in holiday mode when it comes to crafting, but you'll want to go ahead and grab the More Sweet Citrus stamp set NOW while you can - because it's adorable for cards all year long. This first card was creating to celebrate a new baby! Total cuteness with that sentiment, right?

Next up: we always need cute ideas for birthday cards, right? I love that the fruit in this set can be a lemon, lime, or even an orange, depending on how you color it. Lots of versatility!
I used the Inside Out Arch on two of today's cards, and I've honestly been using it nonstop since it was released earlier this year. I HIGHLY recommend grabbing this awesome die, that cuts stitches on the negative and positive parts of the shape. And at 70% off, you can do some SERIOUS shopping at amazing prices.
Remember, the Impression Obsession store is CLOSING on December 2. You are running out of days to shop at 70% off! (This is as low as the sale will go.) Please consider supporting this wonderful business that's been a longstanding part of the paper crafting community for almost 30 years.

Make an Easter Bunny Shaker Card! {New from Impression Obsession}

There's not much more fun than a SHAKER CARD! This sweet and springy Easter shaker card is shaped like an egg, and features the sweetest stamped bunnies from Impression Obsession. Let's take a look and I'll show you just how to create it yourself!

The Inside Out Arch die is such a great shape on its own - but two of them paired up make a perfect egg!
  • Start by cutting out the arch towards the top of a panel of cardstock. This will become the shaker part.
  • Then die cut it again from pink cardstock (or the springy color of your choice!)
  • Stamp a sentiment and adhere the pink arch to your cardstock panel.
  • Add a piece of clear acetate behind the open area, and use a foam sheet or foam tape to add the dimension you need, filling your shaker with sequins.
Looking for more cute bunny ideas? Here's another sweet and simple card for springtime, a new baby, or Easter. Remember bunnies don't have to be white! These kraft colored bunnies are adorable too!

Look at These Sweet Stitched Flowers for Springtime Card Making!

Spring may or may not be in the air where you live, but either way it's time to start crafting up some fresh, springtime handmade cards. Today's cards feature sweet Stitched Flowers from Impression Obsession that are just in time for SPRING!

I love flower dies that aren't too fussy or difficult to use. This set has some mix-and-matchability and there really aren't any rules as far as how you assemble these cuties. With die sets like this, I enjoy starting a project by die cutting in a bunch of assorted colors first. Then I have lots of pieces ready to play with as I figure out what I like best. On today's first card I created a card base with lots of depth, using the Inside Out Arch die to create a window. Then I nestled the blooms coming out of the space. The Jumbo Pinked Stitched Sentiment Banner grounds the space to add some visual weight.

Next up, I used the same colors of flowers, (remember, I love to die cut a BUNCH of flowers at one time,) but I used those same colors for the leaves and stems too. Just a fun, colorful, playful take on the floral theme.  Don't be afraid to get a little silly, and creative!
The Stitched Flowers, Inside Out Arch, and Rounded Rectangle 2 are just a few of the cute new products in this month's release on the Impression Obsession website.
