Grab some pretty designer paper [Heartfelt Creations], layer it up with a small border, angle a panel a little, and I have my fabulous, layered birthday card!
Thanks for stopping by~
Grab some pretty designer paper [Heartfelt Creations], layer it up with a small border, angle a panel a little, and I have my fabulous, layered birthday card!
I went to my challenge source - Paper Players - to check out different challenges going on. I am going with 2 new to me. Darlene & Diane have a plethora of challenges and I have never played in Word Power. The word, or sentiment must be the focal point. I can do that! Freshly Made Sketches #653 also is running a sentiment. I’m good with two challenges. 😀
I just adore this Big MC from Kat Scrappiness. This is my 3rd Christmas with using this die, and every year I love it all over again! [It's on sale right now too!]
It's a card base of my favorite size - mini slimline. While it's a basic card, it does grab your attention.
Fun D& D - Thanks for the challenge.
====================================
I went on to join in Tic Tac Toe #256. It's Bingo time and I chose Right corner diagonal to left corner.
I cut my panel size so I got a border, and layered my circle die cuts. [I used dp from my stash of stunning paper from Heartfelt Creations.] The middle was a freebie.
I needed a thank you card and this one will work perfectly!
That was a fun Bingo board - thanks challenge. You are on my list to check every month now.
I found a challenge over at Paper Playful [a great tool for a list of challenges-by-day] that inspired me; Use Your Stuff #486 - Flowers.
I grabbed out my Heartfelt Creations Classic Sunflower and matching die [no longer available], and went to work. Did you know that Heartfelt Creations is closing down? They are currently running a close-out sale, 50% off 5 - 60% off 10 - 70% off 15. Another one bites the dust....so sad.
I used the HFC Classic Leaf Dies for my leaves.
Yesterday, I was looking for a reason to create. My list of challenges isn't all that long, and I have a lifetime supply of stashed cards, but stamping really is my lifeline and I need to continue to do it! That said, I popped over to Splitcoast Stampers. They run weekly daily challenges. There I go! I can join back in those challenges!
I am starting with the Featured Stamper Challenge. It was always one of my favorites. I used Kate's card HERE. I am always drawn to dots and pretty flowers.
I used the Heartfelt Creations Rustic Sunflower stamps and dies for the Copic colored flower, and an unbranded leaf die cut for the leaves.
My sentiment is from Poppy Stamps Art Deco Inspiration. (It was still on my desk from my last post).
=======================================
I was so inspired, I went ahead and joined in on the Sketch 940 Challenge too. It was a basic sketch, and yeah, it worked out well for me!
I used the colors from Color Throwdown #725; red, green, brown to complete the sketch.
I water colored the image from Altenew's Blossom & Bloom stamp set. The sentiment is from Memory Box Signature Greetings.I think I will try and play along in a few of the SCS daily challenges. They have great challenges, and a few I am really interested in.
Yeah, I realize that Christmas is over. That said, I needed a card [last minute] for Christmas, so this was made before. 😀
I used the following products from HFC to make this card:
Seasonal Wreath Paper Collection
I seriously love being able to use the pre-drawn and colored images from the paper pack! Makes for a beautiful card! My sentiment is computer generated.
