Biden IRS Plans to Crackdown on Waitress’ Tips As Biden Lies No New Taxes On Working Class In State of the Union

Why are tips any of their business? Fox News: The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) proposed a revenue procedure this week to crack down on the service industry’s reporting of tips. The Service Industry Tip Compliance Agreement (SITCA) program would be a voluntary tip reporting system in which the IRS and service industry companies cooperate. As part of the proposal, the IRS will give the public until early May to provide feedback on the program before implementing it. According to the IRS, the program would seek to “improve tip reporting compliance,” reduce administrative burdens and provide more transparency and certainty to taxpayers (Fox News). Daily Caller: The IRS has been moving to crack down on small transactions, including through a requirement that digital transactions over $600 be reported to the agency on 1099-K tax forms (Daily Caller).

Biden’s IRS plans to crack down on waiters’ tips

‘They’re coming after waitresses’ tips now,’ tax expert Mike Palicz says

By Thomas Catenacci | Fox News

California, New York, Connecticut, Washington, Hawaii, Illinois and Maryland among the states to tax wealthy who flee.

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) proposed a revenue procedure this week to crack down on the service industry’s reporting of tips.

The Service Industry Tip Compliance Agreement (SITCA) program would be a voluntary tip reporting system in which the IRS and service industry companies cooperate, according to the announcement Monday. As part of the proposal, the IRS will give the public until early May to provide feedback on the program before implementing it.

“Those 87,000 new IRS agents that you were promised would only target the rich,” tweeted Mike Palicz, federal affairs manager at Americans for Tax Reform. “They’re coming after waitresses’ tips now.”

According to the IRS, the program would seek to “improve tip reporting compliance,” reduce administrative burdens and provide more transparency and certainty to taxpayers.

“This is not a proposal for the auditing of servers,” an IRS official told Fox News Digital. “Yesterday’s action was a proposal for comment – not a rule – based on over a decade of feedback from restaurants and other businesses seeking the increased flexibility for their overall tax compliance on tips.”

“This proposal is not in effect and is intended to welcome further conversation from all interested parties before any rule is put into place,” the official added.

Joe Biden “,Big Brother Biden,” is a pathological liar. So much so, that it must be a thoroughly ingrained part of his deceitful and wicked nature. Likewise, it may be called part of “his horrendously awful character.”

To the evil extreme, that If Biden tells someone “It’s raining outside.” That person would be to first look out of the window before believing lying creepy old Joe.

What makes this even more illegal is that the Internal Revenue Code talks about reporting tips as wages. A tip is not a wage; it is a gratuity. Peter Schiff’s martyred father, Irwin Schiff, explained that in his “The Federal mafia.” Irwin Schiff paid with his life for exposing the illegal nature of income tax collection. https://paynoincometax.com/

And as such it should be taxed as gifts. So for income from 2022, the first $16,000.00 per each gift giver is tax exempt.

They should not have to provide any information about cash tips.

I wonder if any of these morons ever worked in a cafe….it’s hard work. If any group should be given a break on taxes, they should be.

Check with a tax accountant for current rate but at one time the IRS required food servers to report 17% of all orders that did not have a tip added as part of the register receipts, “cash” tips.

Even the smallest of tips add up at the end of the day, week, month and year. Think of all the crack pipes and the crack that Hunter and others can get with THAT kind of ca$h !!!

When dining out, pay your bill and tip with cash. If you pay your bill with a credit card but do not put a tip on it, the IRS will assume you tipped your server with cash and include that in their investigation. I have paid my bill and tip with cash for years simply because I don’t want anyone knowing my business.

Keep doing so, that way that tip is all the IRS can tax on for that receipt.

If you are going to continue doing so, check the tax laws and make sure the tip you leave is at least the percentage that the IRS forces the server to report on all cash payments. You might actually be hurting your server not helping.

I will no longer TIP. . . Instead, I will make a voluntary, anonymous cash donation to help cover the car payment, rent, or college fund of the server.

They are going after the wrong people. Most years the total tips reported by food servers and the total claimed as business expenses have not been equal with the business expenses being larger. SO the IRS goes after the servers instead of the business people who have padding their expense accounts.

I bussed tables in high school. I started paying income tax at age 15. My best friend was a 40-year waiter/sommelier in high-end steakhouses. Tips are income. All income is subject to income tax.

Lie about your income, face the consequences.
Spare me the rap about how hard waiting tables is, and obey the law.

Don’t like the law? Stop voting for tax-and-spend leftist liars!
