‘Appalling’: FBI Vastly Undercounts Antisemitic Hate Crimes, Excludes US Cities With The Most Jews

Evil. The American gestapo hides Jew hatred because it flies in the face of their lies.

World Israel News: A newly released FBI report on antisemitic hate crimes in the U.S. has angered major American Jewish organizations, as the report failed to include statistics from New York City, Los Angeles and Miami – the three cities with the largest Jewish populations in the U.S.

Despite the exclusion of major metropolitan areas that have seen a surge in attacks on Jews and targeted vandalism of synagogues and Jewish-owned businesses, the report still found that antisemitic incidents had reached the third-highest level on record in 2021.

Critics noted that had the report included pertinent statistics from New York, Los Angeles, and Miami, it likely would have indicated that antisemitic incidents in 2021 reached an all-time high.

“At a time of record antisemitic hate crimes, it is appalling that the FBI’s data-gathering has been so badly botched,” said Brandeis Center Chairman Kenneth Marcus in a media statement.

“The 2021 hate crimes data is essentially useless. The problem is so bad that record-high levels of antisemitism appear in the official data as actual declines because major jurisdictions didn’t formally report it.

“This massive failure has undermined the purposes of hate crimes data precisely when we most need the data. If the FBI doesn’t quickly correct this problem, congressional committees will need to ask some serious questions,” he added.

Why did the FBI undercount antisemitic hate crimes?

By Melissa Langsam Braunstein, Washington Examiner, December 20, 2022:

In a typical year, the numbers are the story: Jews are about 2% of Americans but have topped the FBI’s religiously motivated hate crime category “since 1991, often registering between 9-13% of overall hate [crime] totals.” This year, though, the story is why the FBI’s data so undercounted antisemitic hate crimes that Congress wants revised statistics.

Last week, the FBI reported there were 324 antisemitic hate crimes in 2021, about one-third of the year’s 1,013 religiously motivated crimes. By contrast, there were 683 antisemitic hate crimes in 2020, approximately 55% of the total. And 2019 saw 963 antisemitic hate crimes, about 63% of that pre-pandemic year’s total.

Several organizations that track hate crimes believe the FBI’s 2021 number is an undercount. And the FBI, which did not respond to requests for comment, seemingly agrees; last month, FBI Director Christopher Wray said a “full 63% of religious hate crimes are motivated by antisemitism.”

According to Secure Community Network National Director and CEO Michael Masters, “ 37% of law enforcement agencies, representing approximately a third of the U.S. population, did not report into the FBI’s system for 2021.” The absence of New York City, Miami, and Los Angeles, home to many Jews, skews the data, as does the fact that “ 35 major U.S. cities [including Chicago, with its sizable Jewish population] simply reported zero hate crimes.”

It’s an issue that “approximately 4,000 agencies have not yet made the transition” to the FBI’s new reporting system. However, the limited reporting could have other explanations too.

For instance, Masters observes, “Agencies that report to the FBI through their states were also excluded if their states did not participate in the new system, as was the case for several large agencies and states.” Beyond that, police departments may hesitate to assign officers to nonpatrol work amid rising crime. The New York Police Department has hemorrhaged staff, “with 465 officers quitting in 2020 and 888 quitting in 2021,” along with 1,426 in 2022. There have been “about 3,300 officers who retired , resigned, were fired — or lost their lives while wearing the badge” in Chicago since 2019. And the Los Angeles Police Department’s chief commented , “‘In the last 3 years this organization has lost more than 600 personnel to retirement and we didn’t hire new academy recruits to replace them.’”

So, what should 2021’s total look like? Brian Levin, the director of California State University, San Bernardino’s Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism, would start by including New York City’s 207 hate crimes, California’s 151, and Chicago’s revised total of eight. That’s 366 antisemitic hate crimes beyond the already published 324, and there are surely more. Levin’s center found that antisemitic hate crimes “ended the year up 59% in major U.S. cities” and that Jews “were in the top five [targeted groups] in over half the cities surveyed.”

SCN explains why all of this matters: “Hate crime statistics include only committed criminal offenses motivated by bias … hate crime data does not fully represent the level of risk to the Jewish community. In just the last six months, SCN’s intelligence analysts have identified over 4,400 risk events that directly impacted the Jewish community. After thorough vetting, more than 200 individuals were referred to law enforcement for further investigation, leading to the arrests of numerous potentially violent offenders.”

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is no longer the good all American law and order institution that it had been in the past

Now it’s been terribly corrupt by subversive influence of such Socialists ,Communist pro -Sharia characters as Nancy Pelosi and that overseas villain ,George Soros ,and likewise the FBI ,as seen in that invasion /raid that the FBI is now a tool organization of Kamala Harris with their comrades of the Red/Green alliance ,as the that Communist -jihadist alliance that’s one reasons that the FBI probably undercuts the number of anti- Jewish hate crimes in so many cities across the United States.

To corruption of the FBI by the insidious sinister forces .just mentioned above, is so extensive that reform would be able to straighten that now crooked institution.

Therefore, that means that the FBI can no longer be numbered or counted as all American organization engaging in the right actions for the Republic of the United States and the security and safety of the American citizens.

Such horrendous as this is a reflection of the Wisdom found in the Bible. Which reads, “What is crooked cannot be made straight, and what is lacking cannot be numbered.” Ecclesiastes 1:15. [N.K.J.V.]

Crimes against muslimes, which there are few get more exposure than crimes against Jews. Jews are not important to this government as there is a lot Antisemitism. The quad squad is one example.

A large part of the problem, once we get past the anti-Semitism of the left and their minions, is the denial of anti-Semitism of the leftist Jews themselves who have replaced religion with communism. May they all get the trotsky treatment. I get angry at the leftist Jewish organizations who weep for other minorities and cry for “social justice”and do not seem to acknowledge or even care about hatred towards Jews. Sounds a lot like nazi germany and the german jews there. Jews need to wake up and fight back now or else history will repeat itself. The Jewish 2% of the population that has contributed so much needs to wake up now. Bless the righteous Christians in the U.S. for their support.

I agree, Jews need to get training in marshal arts like Krav Maga, fight back and do physical damage to attackers. They also need to form vigilante groups that as inconspicuously as possible patrol streets, carry steel rods and smash attacker on the skull.

Now apparent the main delayer for many of my comments has come from Ottawa/Hull or Hull/Ottawa depending on who sits in Confederation or Federation Con of Canada. _The Rideau Canal separates the Federation of Canada and the Nation du Quebec which operates both sides. _ MikeSr.

Attack a Jewish person in front of me and I won’t be a bystander.

No doubt the reason why attacks on Jews are ‘undercounted’ stems from the fact that most attacks are carried out by blacks and in the now cowardly and insane world is which we live, it is considered ‘racist’ to report the truth about violence by black individuals. Whenever we in the Greater Toronto Area see on tv or in a newspaper the mugshot of Toronto’s latest murderer, someone sought by police for murder or a gun-related crime, they are black. On tv two days, we were shown from security cameras scenes of customer vandalism and stealing, and for all to see most of those robbing or smashing things in stores were black. Instead of pathetically crying ‘racism’, why don’t black communities clean up their behaviour.
