Americans Are Furious At Congress

When the people have no recourse, when the election system has been thrown over and thoroughly corrupted, what is there to be done?

Why Common-Sense Americans Are Furious at Congress

The way Senator Lee was treated on the floor of the Senate makes this omnibus spending bill the worst ever.

The lame-duck congressional spending bill has, without a doubt, turned into the ugliest omnibus ever. Even if that weren’t entirely true, because I’ve never seen a good omnibus, the way Senator Lee was treated just a few hours ago on the floor of the Senate makes this omnibus the worst ever.

Mr. Lee filed an amendment that would’ve extended the Title 42 border restrictions. Given President Biden’s open-border catastrophe, and the lack of any real omnibus funding to solve it, Mr. Lee’s amendment to extend Title 42 on both national security and public health grounds was a terrific move.

Now comes the skullduggery, the sort of thing that makes common-sense Americans furious at the Congress in particular and the D.C. swamp in general. Mr. Lee had the votes to pass his amendment — it would’ve been 49-48 in favor — but Senator Schumer stepped in to extend the voting time by another 8 minutes for some arm-twisting. Guess whose arms he twisted? Those of Senators Sinema and Manchin.

That’s Kyrsten Sinema, that recent well-known convert to independence, and Joe Manchin, who talks a great game and then votes his party line even though he has never gotten his promised permitting bill.

Remember when he voted for the fraudulently named Inflation Reduction Act, and then told me and the rest of the world that he did it in return for a permitting bill that would open the oil and gas spigots and run a pipeline in West Virginia and presumably other pipelines, to help ameliorate our energy crisis?

So, Mr. Schumer took Ms. Sinema and Mr. Manchin aside for a little while. Immediately thereafter, lo and behold, they changed their votes. That’s right: These two independent-minded people, who frequently boast that they are not part of the left-wing big-government socialist-sponsoring Democratic Party, miraculously change their votes.

Illegitimate elections; illegitimate government; treason. I want all their heads on a pike.

This a long quote but it’s supremely relevant. I hope I’m not abusing the Geller Report’s hospitality. If I am I apologize.

“The American people may oppose the nation’s present course, but by themselves they can not change it. They may oppose the taxes and the bureaucrats, but these are merely consequences, which cannot be significantly cut back so long as their source is untouched. The people may curse “big government” in general — but to no avail if the pressure groups among them, following the logic of a mixed economy, continue to be fruitful and to multiply. The people may “swing to the right”, but it is futile, if the leaders of the right are swinging to their own (religious) brand of statism. The country may throw the rascals out, but it means nothing if the next administration is made of neo-rascals from the other party.

To change a nation’s basic course requires more than a mood of popular discontent. It requires the definition of a new direction for the country to take. Above all, it requires a theoretical justification for this direction, one which would convince people that the proposed course is practical and moral. Moral considerations alone might not be sufficient to move men, if they believe the course being urged is impractical; practical considerations alone will not move men, if they believe the course is immoral. The union of the two, however, is irresistable.

By its nature, changing the course of a nation is a task that can be achieved only by men who deal with the field of ideas. In the long run the people of a country have no alternative: they end up following the lead of the intellectuals.

The intellectuals cannot escape ideas either. They may become anti-ideological skeptics, who offer the country for guidance only subjective feelings and short-range pragmatism; but it is the ideas — ultimately, the basic ideas — they still accept, explicitly or otherwise, which determine the content of their feelings and of their pragmatism. In the long run the intellectuals, too, have no alternative: they end up following the lead of the philosophers.

If there is no new philosophy to guide and rally the better men among them, the intellectuals will follow one that isold and bankrupt. If there are no living ideas, they will follow dying ones and take the country with them. The shambles of the Kantian movement, therefore, does not necessarily mean an early end to its stranglehold over the nation’s life and institutions. In the absence of any principled opposition, the Kantian ideas by default will continue to rule, and to move us further down the road on which, for so many years, we have been traveling.” – Leonard Peikoff, from “The Ominous Parallels: The End of Freedom In America”, 1982

I wonder just how far away you live from the MX-USA International Border.
Personally I know Yuma and I lived in Tucson so Ive seen such invasion action before, but those who live far away from the Border all seem to know what the hell they are talking about…. FYI… they dont…

American Citizens are tired of the senate and congress passing 4000+ page bills of garbage without reading them, which is destroying this country. Wasting Tax payer money and giving it away to useless organizations and other countriies.

The dems appear to be pushing their opponents into strongly crossing certain lines, as, they must think that, were this to happen, it will justify the declaration of martial law. If so, this would be the nail in the coffin of our constitutional republic, as, the only recourse to contest this would create a new civil war, in which the federal government has all of the cards. Who would win this? Why, the far left dems, their RINO accomplices, the NWO, and, the Chinese, as, the break up of America, opens the door to the imposition of the “elite” controlled techno totalitarian state, that will be the model for the rest of the west.

Surely you have heard of the small group of farmers who opposed the greatest army of the world?

It would seem that the only recourse left to us is the same recourse left to our Founders.

Heres an inexpensive and effective method to stop this invasion.
Have the Yuma Border Patrol fire their Guns into the air in the direction of this swarm of people and watch them RUN back to where the hell they came from..
Costs… a few bullets and some fun.
