For first time in modern history, Christians a minority in England

More than 1 in 3 people say they have no religion; secularism campaigners say shift should trigger rethink of the way religion is entrenched in British society
Story continues below advertisementFewer than half the people in England and Wales consider themselves Christian, according to the most recent census — the first time the country’s official religion has been followed by a minority of the population.
Britain has become less religious — and less white — in the decade since the last census, figures from the 2021 census released Tuesday by the Office for National Statistics revealed.
Some 46.2% of the population of England and Wales described themselves as Christian on the day of the 2021 census, down from 59.3% a decade earlier. The Muslim population grew from 4.9% to 6.5% of the total, while 1.7% identified as Hindu, up from 1.5%.
More than 1 in 3 people — 37% — said they had no religion, up from 25% in 2011.
The other parts of the UK, Scotland and Northern Ireland, report their census results separately.
Secularism campaigners said the shift should trigger a rethink of the way religion is entrenched in British society. The UK has state-funded Church of England schools, Anglican bishops sit in Parliament’s upper chamber, and the monarch is “defender of the faith” and supreme governor of the church.Andrew Copson, chief executive of the charity Humanists UK, said “the dramatic growth of the non-religious” had made the UK “almost certainly one of the least religious countries on Earth.”
“One of the most striking things about these results is how at odds the population is from the state itself,” he said. “No state in Europe has such a religious set-up as we do in terms of law and public policy, while at the same time having such a non-religious population.”

With the push by the Biden regime to further extend the jaws and tighten the noose of the culture of death onto the rest of society via Wild West abortion laws (i.e. up to birth and beyond), I predict that in the U.S., whites will become a demographic minority for the first time in its history come the 2030 Census the way things are going now, especially with the conspiracy to completely crush, squash, suppress, destroy and silence the pro-life movement (and with it, all viable alternatives to abortion), coupled with the mass demographic invasion of illegals as encouraged by Biden and company.

The sad and tragic reality is that The United Kingdom is falling more and more into the realm of spiritual darkness. Especially with the advancement of Islam into the UK.
Even King Charles has an attraction and admiration towards Islam is very revealing about his religious education he received in the Church of England, which in the United Kingdom is also called “The Anglican Church.”
The King with is favorable spirit to Islam reveals that the Anglican church didn’t teach and ingrain the Bible doctrines about the Nature of Jesus into his mind and heart when he was still a prince.
Likewise, back then he was a prince his “higher education “didn’t cover the many different aspects of how the religion of Islam rejects the many clear Bible teaching about the nature of Jesus.
For Islam denies the Bible doctrines about of and about the actual natural of Jesus which is blasphemous.
For Islam denies that Jesus is the Son of God. Meaning that Jesus of the only Son of God the Father. That is in blatant contradiction to the information revealed in the Bible. As found, for example, Matthew 3:16, 17, First John 2:22, 23. Likewise, Jesus is God the Son, as seen in Hebrews 1:8. First John 5:20.
The Deity of the Son taught in the Bible. For in Colossians 2:9 It reads “For In Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form. ” [N.I.V.]
That Jesus is God is further revealed in the Bible in John 1-1-3. Colossians 1:15-17. Romans 9:5 Second Peter 1:1. Titus 2:13 First John 5:20.
Furthermore, the Bible in First Kings 8:89 teaches that “Only God Knows that thoughts of men” in the Gospel of Mark 2:8 reveals that Jesus knows the thoughts of men.”
In conclusion the Bible does reveal to that Jesus is God and that exposes Islam’s false teaching about Jesus and therefore Islam is a false religion of demonic darkness.
As Isaiah 8:20 reads” To the law and to the Testimony ! If they do not speak according to the word, it is because there is no light in them.”

Wow, these comments are so crucial!! Thank you ever so much for taking the time to remind the readers that Jesus is GOD. I’m just reading The Glory of Christ by A.W. Pink which extensively goes into the deity of Christ, and Mr. Sieruk’s comment above is a beautiful extension detailing that doctrine!!

While I agree with you, at the same time, I must say the Church of England is riddled with false doctrines. But to me, that means that someone who is not happy with the Church of England should try to find a spiritual home with a more congenial and true Christian doctrine, not turn his or her back on Christ altogether.

When the EU allowed Russian/Commie-trained Angela Merkel to invite immigrants from Muslim countries into Europe, knowing Muslim history and knowing Communists intentions, what did anybody think would happen?! How many years was Europe at war with Islam, and today’s Leftists invite the clash back again??

Thanks Clara! I get discouraged when I think about how stupid countries are to welcome Islamics with open arms. The historical reality — the historical evidence — is so overwhelming that this welcoming is unwise is so overwhelming that the invitation given and the accessibility given is truly subversive and mindless. It is not a question of whether some Muslims are very “nice” or “tolerant,” but that Islam as a religion fosters hostility to the non-Muslim world that is extreme.

There is a lack of zeal for God and for the Holy Bible among Christians which has led to the lazy and laissez-faire attitudes and decline in identity as Christians. But there is a falling away in faith among people who still identify as Christian. Church doctrine is increasingly liberal as a way to reassure sinful church goers that God still loves them and thus they should keep coming to church and keep throwing money into the coffers. In short, the lack of purity and zeal in the behavior and motives of people who are Christians contributes significantly to the disassociation of many. The Luciferian pagan spirits are alive in the land in the U.K. as they are in the USA. I believe that this falling away is both a fault of those who are claiming the title of “Christian” and, at the same time, is a judgment of God against Christians. Look at the tension between the true followers of Yahweh and the Baal worshippers in the same population in the Old Testament. Look at the false apostles and teachers that were being dealt with even at the founding of Christianity that is discussed in the New Testament. And those debates have followed throughout the past 2000 years. This writer is a reformed baptist doctrinally, but, although reformed, I do not hear the words “born again” enough from reformed preachers although they talk about many things, especially the sovereignty of God and holiness, that I do not hear from the regular Baptists or other fundamentalist groups like the Seventh Day Adventists. Again, Pamela is at the cutting edge of reporting by highlighting this important development in the U.K. It has implications for the entire Western world and especially for all English speaking countries.
