Josh Hawley blasts Mitch McConnell, GOP establishment for tanking red wave

After the midterms proved disappointing for the GOP, who were hoping for a “Red Wave” that would lead to significant gains in Congress, Missouri Senator Josh Hawley laid the blame at the foot of “Washington Republicanism” as he and other Republicans specifically point to Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell.
Hawley tweeted, “Washington Republicanism lost big Tuesday night. When your ‘agenda’ is cave to Big Pharma on insulin, cave to Schumer on gun control & Green New Deal (‘infrastructure’), and tease changes to Social Security and Medicare, you lose.”
“What are Republicans actually going to do for working people? How about, to start: tougher tariffs on China, reshore American jobs, open up American energy full throttle, 100k new cops on the street. Unrig the system,” Hawley added.
Races in Nevada and Arizona are still in contention but the GOP is expected to take a small majority in the House. The leadership in the Senate is unclear but a run-off is expected in Georgia between Herschel Walker and Raphael Warnock.
A number of Senate Republicans are calling for the leadership elections to be delayed after the lackluster midterm election. Senators Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, Mike Lee of Utah, and Rick Scott of Florida have circulated a letter calling on their colleagues to sign onto a postponement of the elections, which are slated for Wednesday.
According to Breitbart, Hawley said earlier in the week that he would not support McConnell for another round of his leadership.
“I don’t imagine I will, no,” Hawley said about supporting McConnell.
“I’m not sure if any other senator will run or not. Nobody’s indicated they would. But my view is that we need new leadership in that position,” Hawley said. The Missouri Senator criticized McConnel for his backing the ongoing war in Ukraine and capitulating to Biden and the Democrats on several contentious issues.
“I did not agree with the idea that you go out there and badmouth our own candidates in the middle of an election,” Hawley added, referring back to McConnell not supporting GOP candidates in New Hampshire and Arizona.
On Friday, Blake Masters, who ran in that Arizona race, told Tucker Carlson that McConnell and the establishment were “incompetent.”

1 year agoMcConnell betrayed us yet again! He does all he can to prevent MAGA republicans from getting into office.
But the other major contributor to the thwarting of a red wave was Lindsay Graham. The election should have been a moratorium against the Democrats’ policies. What Graham did instead was give the Left fodder to fear Republicans more than the pain they feel from the Democrats’ policies. Graham went out of his way to focus the election on abortion when he knew that such a proposal would never see the light of day. But he wanted to attack us by using the idea that while we are anti-abortion, we really want to tyrannically force that onto everybody. This totally played into the Left’s anti-abortion fear mongering. You don’t gain support for your cause by the use of force. Graham knew abortion was a trigger topic and he knew MAGA Republicans had momentum. So he had to kill that momentum and give fuel to the Democrats but also to the never Trumpers for losing in 2022 for being too radical.

1 year agoJoe Biden best defined by being compared to Hitler or Vladimir Lenin it’s only a matter of conjecture.
Nevertheless, whichever dictator “Big Brother Biden” is more fitting to describe Joe Biden, he is, in essence, a tyrant. Biden even has political prisoners from the January 6, 2021, pro-Trump patriot rally.
It’s a Biden gulag for those patriots who are treated just as terrible as in the old Soviet political prisons or the twenty-first century political prisons in Red China under the dictatorship of Xi Jinping.
Therefore, it’s no wonder that Joe Biden has policies that always favor Communist China because must admire that system of tyranny and strives to use it as a model for the American government.
Biden in that spite and malice- filled rant that he called a “speech” condemned “political violence.” Biden was speaking .as disingenuous as he always is. For his being against political violence, he a double standard. of allowing violent actions of Marxist of Communist organizations and violent jihadists engaging in Islamic terrorism get off the hook, “scot -free.”
To elaborate on this statement, when he spoke about “political violence” Biden was speaking about the mayhem that occurred on January 6, 2021, Biden even said that, and slanderously called the American patriots” insurrectionists” who had been framed in that leftist set up, but he said nothing about the most extreme horrendous political violence carried out, repeatedly in different cities by the violent lawless criminal and malicious and even, at times, murderous Marxist, of Antifa and BLM.
Furthermore, Biden didn’t condemn the extreme political /religious violence, many times over, by Muslim terrorists. As one of the major characters in Iran’s Islamic revolution in 1979, Ayatollah Khomeini had, rightly, declared, “All Islam is politics.” [1]
In addition, Biden completely failed to condemn all violence, not only “political violence.”
For the horrible reality is the there is much non-political violence ranging from bands of Criminal gangs, as the most heinous and evil MS-13 to domestic home violence.
That speech delivered by Joe Biden was terrible and so is he.

When applying that wise statement to Joe Biden, his “measure” is more than lacking, it’s outright terrible.
For Biden is the obedient “lap dog” and “useful idiot’ as was tool and stooges of the Communist President of China, Xi Jinping. Therefore, Biden will give only “lip service” in condemning Communist China is it invaded Taiwan but will do absolutely nothing, at all, to stop it or aid Taiwan.
