China Recruiting Former Air Force Pilots for Training

Readying for war. And the West sleeps.

China’s incredible growth from backwater monolith to world superpower is based on everything they stole from the West. And they stole it all. Made possible by the stupidity and gullibility of Western leaders, starting most egregiously with Bill Clinton. Clinton allegedly allowed for the transfer, through the defense contractors Loral and Hughes, of secret military technology to the Chinese government.

The Clintons have been accused of various inappropriate connections to Red China.

Mr. Tyrrell – who also writes a weekly column that appears in The New York Sun – mentioned in particular the Clintons’ ties to the Riady family, an Indonesian clan with ties to the Chinese communist government through their financial conglomerate, the Lippo Group. In 1999, two major Clinton fund-raisers, John Huang and Charles Yah Lin Trie, pleaded guilty to charges related to the illegal funneling of Chinese contributions to Mr. Clinton’s re-election campaign in 1996. In 1998, a Clinton fund-raiser connected to the Riady family and Mr. Huang, Maria Hsia, was indicted on charges related to a fund-raising event held with Vice President Gore at a Buddhist temple in Southern California. Perhaps most damaging, Mr. Tyrrell said, was how President Clinton allegedly allowed for the transfer, through the defense contractors Loral and Hughes, of secret military technology to the Chinese government.

CNBC: China’s military is headhunting ex-British Air Force pilots for their training skills and expertise — and the U.K. government is working to stop it, the U.K.’s Ministry of Defense said Tuesday. Some 30 former British military pilots are believed to have gone to work for China to train personnel in its People’s Liberation Army. Recruitment is said to be ramping up, with former pilots being offered large paychecks to work for the Chinese (CNBC). Reuters: The British government said on Tuesday it was taking steps to stop China trying to recruit serving and former British military pilots to train the Chinese armed forces. “We are taking decisive steps to stop Chinese recruitment schemes attempting to headhunt serving and former UK Armed Forces pilots to train People’s Liberation Army personnel in the People’s Republic of China,” a Ministry of Defense spokesperson said in a statement (Reuters).

China Recruited UK Air Force Pilots To Train Its Military

China recruited highly-skilled pilots who retired from the British military to train fighters in the People’s Liberation Army, according to the New York Times.

A senior British defense official said the practice began some time before the coronavirus pandemic, but that instances of former military pilots, some of whom flew advanced fighter jets, going to work for the People’s Liberation Army had grown more frequent in recent months, the NYT reported. The official worried the practice could threaten the UK’s national security and said the U.K. was collaborating with allies, some of whom Beijing has also targeted for recruiting trainers.

The official declined to specifically name the other countries the US was working with, according to the NYT.

“We are taking decisive steps to stop Chinese recruitment schemes attempting to headhunt serving and former U.K. Armed Forces pilots to train People’s Liberation Army personnel in the People’s Republic of China,” a U.K. Ministry of Defense (MOD) spokesperson told the Daily Caller News Foundation in a statement.

As many as 30 former members of the Royal Air Force and other branches of the U.K. armed services accepted contract offers of up to $270,000 through a third-party recruiting company in South Africa, the NYT reported.

None of the retired pilots appear to have violated the Official Secrets Act, which deals with espionage and related crimes, according to the NYT.

“All serving and former personnel are already subject to the Official Secrets Act, and we are reviewing the use of confidentiality contracts and non-disclosure agreements across Defence,” the MoD spokesperson told the DCNF.

While the U.K. does not have clear legislation to block contracts with the PLA, the country has determined to revise laws that allow former servicemembers to provide training support for members of foreign militaries, the official told the NYT.

ritain’s National Security Bill, passed in June to address espionage and other foreign influence threats, “will create additional tools to tackle contemporary security challenges – including this one,” the spokesperson added.

Britain, an odd close ally. Britain sold the USSR it’s jet engine technology used in the Mig-15.

“What fool will sell us his secrets?” Stalin is said to have commented on the idea. But when Soviet designer Viktor Klimov visited the United Kingdom in 1946, the British Labor government proved unexpectedly forthcoming. London was struggling to repay the United States for military equipment acquired through the Lend-Lease program, and Trade Minister Stafford Cripps appeared not to have grasped the escalating tensions of the Cold War. As a result, the United Kingdom sold dozens of Nenes to Russia in 1946 and 1947 under the condition that they not be used for military purposes.

…….Fools!

These pilots from other countries. What do they think the Chinese are going to do with the training they give them? They are at some point going to use it against all those other countries where these pilots are from. The Chinese will be killing their people and destroying their homelands. How short sighted they are when someone waves money in their face. But, then again, everyone trusts the Chinese. They’ve always been the good guys.

Not sleeping. Biden is busy giving our critical weapons to Ukraine and abandoning them in Afghanistan, and draining our petrol stocks. And all between ice cream breaks! Nero had nothing on us, sister.

Anyone who goes to China is aiding an enemy. It should be considered treason and halted immediately.
