Elon Musk is being investigated by United States federal authorities in relation to his bid to acquire Twitter.
Story continues below advertisementLawyers working for the online platform claimed in a court filing unsealed in Delaware on Thursday that Musk is currently under investigation by federal authorities for his conduct as it pertains to his buyout of the popular social media company.
‘Elon Musk is presently under investigation by federal authorities for his conduct in connection with the acquisition of Twitter, wrote attorneys for Potter Anderson Corroon LLP in a filing dated October 6.

According to a Bloomberg report, Twitter is also attempting to gain access to communications between Musk and the Federal Trade Commission.
Earlier in 2022, the US Securities and Exchange Commission sent an inquiry to Musk about the initial disclosure of his major stake in Twitter. The letter was sent in April and the SEC released it in May.
In early April, Musk disclosed he had acquired a more than 9% stake in Twitter. He did so one week later than regulations allow. He also used a filing generally reserved only for passive investors.

If Elon Musk was involved in something unlawful then most involved in merger and acquisitions are doing something unlawful.
The lawfare and selective prosecutions in the US is now at third world levels.

Wait a minute. The government has gone whole hog with their silly global warming green initiatives. And Musk is one of the green crusade’s major players…selling funky, overpriced EV’s. So why would they go after him? I forgot, the leftists often eat their own.

Honestly speaking, the guy’s a Musky sort of rat anyway. He’s hoaxed so many dweebs into trouble laden vehicles that will likely make the environment worse (on the public dime, too). Wastes billions on flash but ludicrous space projects. And he’s the ultimate pro-communist pimp, always pushing himself into the news advising the Ukraine and Taiwan should bow to the commie creeps.

What a total ‘shit-hole’ America has become under communist Democrat rule! Despite his peculiar personal life-style I like Elon Musk, not least for his independent spirit, his absolute willingness to rock convention and shake up the rotten status quo like that set up by the utterly corrupt and arrogant Twitter. Over this Elon has given us such pleasure. Well, Elon gets my vote and the utter pieces of dung investigating him – for what exactly? – do not., The sooner they rot in hell the better.
