Putin to suspend Russia participation in New START Treaty, last nuclear arms control pact with US
Putin said that Russia would not yet fully withdraw from the treaty but must be ready to resume nuclear weapons testing if the United States does.

Russia President Vladimir Putin said Tuesday his country will suspend its participation in the New START Treaty, the last remaining nuclear arms control agreement between the Kremlin and the United States.
In his state of the nation address, Putin said that Russia would not yet fully withdraw from the treaty, which was signed by Russia and the U.S. in 2010 to cap the number of deployable long-range nuclear warheads and limit the use of atomic missiles, according to the Associated Press.
Putin also said Russia must be ready to resume nuclear weapons testing if the United States does.

It’s truly maddening listening to Mike Pence weep and wail about what a catastrophe Biden is.
Mike Pence could have disputed the 2020 election results and demanded a re-count. That would have been entirely within his Constitutional authority. It would have taken a lot of courage, no doubt.
But Mike Pence FAILED to rise to the occasion — like George Washington would have.
Like Donald Trump tried to do.
And then to hear Mike Pence claim credit for anything that Trump did…
Just go home Mike Pence.

Don’t believe the MSM or even “Alt-media”when they blame NATO or the US for why Russia behaves like a Neo-con country. The Russians were cheating on that deal. Trump was right to pull out.

BILL CLINTON signed the Budapest Agreement of 1994, where we pressured UKRAINE to denuclearize in exchange for Russia respecting its sovereighty. This was to appease Russia on Ukraine.
Didn’t work.
appeasement doesn’t work with dictators. Putin is a neo-con, and it’s time some of our anti-war/libertarian friends realized that.

BILL CLINTON also negotiated away NATO’s nukes (on the eastern side) to appease Russia on NATO. No nulcear deterrent for new NATO members. This appeasement deal is called the NATO FOUNDING ACT of 1997.
The lesson here is you can’t appease dictators. it never works.
If there is going to be nuclear war, it’s because of Putin, Xi, and Iran; and it would help if we started calling them out and their followers who keep rooting for war and more war.
They’re neo-cons.

Exactly. Trusting Russia is always a stupid thing to do, especially stupid is trusting Putin, former KGB tourcherer and a thief who drained Russia of its resources in order to build his palaces and even his own private railroad where only his own train travels, because he is afraid to fly now.
