The FBI is corrupted absolutely and irretrievably broke.
Charles McGonigal, 54, the former head of counterintelligence for the FBI’s New York office, is accused of secretly working for a U.S.-sanctioned Russian oligarch, Oleg Deripaska, as well as conspiring to commit money laundering.

Prosecutors said that McGonigal is alleged to have tried to help Deripaska get off the sanctions list after leaving the FBI in 2018. He is also alleged to have taken money off the Russian billionaire in 2019 in order to investigate a rival oligarch.

Charles McGonigal was one of the leading figures behind the investigation into alleged Russian collusion in the 2016 election.
McGonigal was one of the first FBI figures to be made aware of allegations that George Papadopoulos, a campaign adviser for Trump, boasted that he knew Russians had dirt on Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton.
In a post on Truth Social after the Department of Justice announced the charges, Trump said: “The FBI guy after me for the Russia, Russia, Russia HOAX, long before my Election as President, was just arrested for taking money from Russia, Russia, Russia. May he Rot In Hell!”
In 2019, special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation determined that there was no evidence that Trump and his campaign conspired or coordinated with Russia to interfere in the 2016 election, although the former president and several of his officials may have attempted to obstruct the probe.

Former FBI agent Charles McGonigal, who had a hand in investigating Trump-Russian collusion, was arrested on Saturday for his ties to Russia.
According to CBS, “his ties to Oleg Deripaska, a Russian billionaire who has been sanctioned by the United States and criminally charged last year with violating those sanctions.”
In a statement, Michael Driscoll, the FBI assistant director in charge, said, “The FBI is committed to the enforcement of economic sanctions designed to protect the United States and our allies, especially against hostile activities of a foreign government and its actors.”
“Russian oligarchs like Oleg Deripaska perform global malign influence on behalf of the Kremlin and are associated with acts of bribery, extortion, and violence,” Driscoll said. “As alleged, Mr. McGonigal and Mr. Shestakov, both U.S. citizens, acted on behalf of Deripaska and fraudulently used a U.S. entity to obscure their activity in violation of U.S. sanctions. After sanctions are imposed, they must be enforced equally against all U.S. citizens in order to be successful. There are no exceptions for anyone, including a former FBI official like Mr. McGonigal.”

My wife and I pray daily that the evil in our government and it’s depts. (fbi, cia, nsa, doj) will be brought into the light and justice will prevail. G-d works in his time and does answer prayer.

If he colluded with Russia the obvious conclusion is that he would try to sabotage the Mueller Investigation and run cover for Trump and his Russian friends.
Time to pay attention to the obvious.
