The Hate Crime and Public Order (Scotland) Act 2021 creates a new crime of speech that could offend relating to \religion, sexual orientation, transgender identity or being intersex. etc etc.
The maximum penalty is a prison sentence of seven years. So after yet another Islamic terror attack, you could face jail for criticizing the jihadic doctrine that inspired the bloodshed. Allahu akbar, indeed.

Daily Mail: Scotland’s new hate crime laws which come into force on Monday could undermine public trust in the police, senior Police Scotland officers say.
Rob Hay, president of the Association of Scottish Police Superintendents (ASPS) said there could be an increase in reports of hate crimes, driven by people wishing to score points against those on opposite sides of an argument online.
The Hate Crime and Public Order (Scotland) Act has been slammed by celebrities including JK Rowling who says it will have a chilling effect on free speech but First Minister Humza Yousaf has strongly defended the legislation.

Scotland’s hateful hate-crime law
Ordinary citizens are viewed with disdain

If the Scottish establishment is to be believed, ordinary Scots are positively frothing with hatred at the moment. Already Police Scotland record “non-crime hate incidents”, based solely on an onlooker’s perception of hatred, as a matter of course. But this hasn’t been enough to stem the tide of venom north of the border. So on Monday, the Hate Crime and Public Order Act will come into force, intended among other things to criminalise the “stirring up” of hatred towards several protected characteristics, including race, age, disability, religion, and transgender identity.
And there’s more. Ostensibly introduced for those victims of hate crimes too intimidated to speak to the police directly, there will now be designated “third-party reporting centres” for accusations of hateful crime, including one in a Glasgow sex shop. Snitch on someone you dislike and pick up a dildo at the same time — isn’t modern life wonderful?
Also accompanying the introduction of the Act has been an infantilising and much-derided publicity campaign, featuring a ginger “Hate Monster” strongly reminiscent of a Sesame Street character, and who is supposed to represent “that feeling some people get when they are frustrated and angry and take it out on others, because they feel like they need to show that they are better than them. In other words, they commit a hate crime”. Given the vagueness of this characterisation, upon first encountering the Hate Monster, I myself probably committed one — in imagination, at least — both upon the Monster and whatever lanyard-bedecked zealot invented him.

Squabbling amongst ourselves over who has the best system is pointless and counterproductive, merely giving comfort to the enemy. At the moment neither system is affording much comfort to ‘we the people’ under either system.
As I see it the USA’s Founding Fathers examined the English Bill Of Rights 1689 and set out, successfully, to improve on it and found a Republic. But when men of ill will worm their way to the helm of state and occupy all the seats of power, seeking to subjugate the mass of the people to their will and to the whims of the perverse – which is happening on both sides of the pond – then in the absence of a general nationwide understanding of what is happening, coupled with determined political action, the inevitable resulting chaos will bring violence. Either the violence of an uprising of the people to reaffirm their freedom, or the violence of the quasi state in order to complete their subjugation.
I see only one other possibility, however unlikely, which is the possible intervention of Mother Nature. since apparently the sun is imminently going to undergo a solar pole reversal. If this should produce an effect anything like the 1859 Carrington Event, which was an emission of a significant Coronal Mass Ejection in the direction of Earth then all our modern electronics that are not CME Hardened will fail. To get a general idea of the effect read the book “One Second Later” which was published some years ago. Television will be a thing of the past, probably for several years, so people will have to think about things instead of watching zombifying pap entertainment. That just might produce some action. Although it will also produce some disastrous results, with a great many fatalities from a variety of causes.

It’s not just sharia that’s being enforced here, but also Greenwich Village/San Francisco/Fire Island/Key West “values” (in terms of penalties for any speech deemed offensive to LGBTQ supremacists, which was why J.K. Rowling has called this fascistic legislation “chilling”). This is why I say there is zero difference between these two doctrines and dictates in terms of their barest essences.

I would think that all an opposition party in Scotland needs to do at the next general election is to give a guarantee of the repeal of this iniquitous legislation immediately upon election to power and they would be swept into office on a landslide, and the ghastly SNP would become but a sad and sickly footnote in history.

J.K. Rowling now has a target on her back and the equivalent of a fatwa on her head for her continued criticisms of transgender ideology, made worse by this fascistic measure (which is why I say it is as much about the enforcement of radical fringe Greenwich Village/San Francisco/Fire Island/Key West “values” as it is about the enforcement of Sharia law). Muslim laws of no liquor, no celebrating holidays, no music, no queers which id disrespect to the Koran and falls under beheading.
