Story continues below advertisementVoters go to the polls in the Michigan primary on Tuesday, and the result to watch isn’t only Nikki Haley vs. Donald Trump. The Democratic left is trying to send President Biden a message about the war in Gaza, and the effort already seems to be changing U.S. policy toward Israel and Hamas.
Mr. Biden’s name is on the primary ballot, but his only significant opponent, Minnesota Rep. Dean Phillips, hasn’t caught on so far. The main challenge on Tuesday is coming from the Democratic Party’s anti-Israel left and Rep. Rashida Tlaib. She’s leading a campaign against Mr. Biden’s support for Israel and she and others are asking Democrats to vote “uncommitted.”
“It is also important to create a voting bloc,” Ms. Tlaib said in a video posted on X, formerly Twitter, “something that is a bullhorn, to say, ‘Enough is enough. We don’t want a country that supports wars and bombs and destruction. We want to support life. We want to stand up for every single life killed in Gaza.’” She and others on the left are demanding an immediate cease-fire in Gaza.
Michigan will be a contested state in November, and Mr. Biden prevailed over Donald Trump by only three percentage points in 2020. The hope on the left is that if enough Democrats vote “uncommitted,” it will scare the White House into changing its Israel policy lest tens of thousands of Democrats stay home or vote for a third-party candidate. Several polls show Mr. Trump is currently leading Mr. Biden in Michigan.
It’s far from clear that the Tlaib-left-wing threat is real if the choice comes down to Biden vs. Trump in November. Will Democrats really risk re-electing the Republican? But the primary threat is tangible enough that Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer felt the need to speak up against the “uncommitted” campaign. So have other Wolverine State Democrats.
It’s clear that the left’s threats are already influencing Mr. Biden’s foreign policy. After the Oct. 7 massacre, the President’s pro-Israel instincts kicked in and he backed Jerusalem’s right to destroy Hamas. As the war has evolved and domestic criticism of Mr. Biden’s support for Israel has increased, however, Mr. Biden has become much more critical of Israel.
Mr. Biden has called Israeli military tactics “over the top” and he opposes Israeli plans to move on the city of Rafah, the last Hamas urban stronghold in Gaza. Last week the U.S. formally reversed the Trump Administration policy on Israeli settlements in the West Bank, declaring them illegal. The Administration hasn’t joined the calls for a cease-fire, but it is trying to negotiate a pause in the fighting that could become a cease-fire after several weeks.

Just like in the UK, it APPEARS that the Muslims are running the show, but that’s a show so people don’t think the Crown is running the show. Muslims are just doing what they have always done, and that’s why they were embraced, enriched, carried into the house and protected.

True. They are both trying to use the other. Both despise freedom and free people. Their common goal is eliminating the icon of freedom and liberty and the people who want to live that way.
Islamic doctrine and Islamic history proves they are out to eliminate everyone else.

Right, and I no longer use the term Marxism as Karl Marx did not wrote the Communist Manifesto. I use the term based on the actual authors name ROOSEVELTIST. You see it was a cousin of Franklin Delano Roosevelt who was the actual author. Before Friedrich Nietzsche there was Clinton Roosevelt, whose publication was plagiarised by Karl Marx, the Communist Manifesto. He was a cousin of Franklin Delano Roosevelt and published his Science of Government Founded On Natural Law in 1841, the same year John Humphrey Noyes founded a communist commune in Oneida, NY. Noyes mandated for commune members complex marriage.
If you want to see what the end game is for these people see the Rod Taylor movie HG Wells The Time Machine. Wells’ book is much more complicated, but the movie presents, in my opinion, what the Rooseveltists were planning. That’s right, I say Roosevelltists, since Marx plagiarised Clinton Roosevelt’s book.

I still recall seeing a picture of Hitler giving Henry Ford an award. I suspect that Ford, imported Black people not because he liked them,but as a tool to drive white people into the suburbs. Back in those days Detroit had a street car system, but the man that ran it was an investor in Ford. So Henry Ford found a way to drive White people out of the city and sell his cars.
I know a WWII generation lady who was born in Detroit along wither her sisters. She said Detroit was a very safe city. That was before Democrats took over. There has not been a Republican mayor since 1961.

The Democrats have more in common with the Palestinians than the American Founders. The Constitution depended heavily on the Ten Commandments, yet the founder of the Democratic Party, you see him on the $20 bill, Andrew Jackson, who rejected biblical law. Anyone having doubts should take a look at the Indian removal Act and the Trail of Tears that killed thousands of Native Americans. Of course, it did not stop with Jackson, who owned 150 slaves at one time and some 300 slaves over time. South Carolina was dominated by Democrats when it seceded from the Union six weeks after Lincoln was elected. The Northern Democrat Stephen Douglas was an advocate for the expansion of slavery into the West. Hmm,, funny how the modern commie in the Democratic Party attack the American Founders, yet forget that when the Northwest Ordinance of 1787 was passed it banned slavery in a territory as large as the original 13 colonies. I also have to thank a Haitian immigrant for reminding me that when Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence that Jefferson called out the King of England for permitting slavery in the New World. That article was removed because tow colonies would not ratify the Declaration. They were South Carolina and Georgia, both slave states and members of the Confederacy.
I have to thank Dinesh D’Souza for revealing there were many slave owners in the South, who were BLACK not White. Examples, I have confirmed, for example, are three from South Carolina. IN the 1830 US Census you find these people:

Mistress L. Horry – free colored – owned 84 slaves
Justus Angel – free colores – owned 84 slaves.
Willaim Elison – free colored – owned 60 slaves
