NBC Washington: A man was arrested in an antisemitic attack outside a D.C. synagogue on Sunday. Officers arrested Brent Wood for allegedly shouting an antisemitic phrase and spraying a foul-smelling substance on two people outside the Kesher Israel Congregation. The victims were not physically hurt. Police are investigating the incident as a hate or bias-motivated crime. The Anti-Defamation League condemned the incident, issuing a statement that reads in part, “There is simply no excuse for these antisemitic acts. None of this is normal and no one should think this is okay (NBC Washington).

Brent Wood is accused of spraying the two victims as he shouted the antisemitic phrase outside the Kesher Israel Congregation around 9:30 a.m., authorities said.
He allegedly yelled, “Gas the Jews” as he deployed the foul-smelling substance, sources told NBC 4 Washington.
No injuries were reported, and it’s unclear if the victims were connected to the synagogue.
The suspect was arrested and his car was examined as a precaution, but no hazardous materials were found, Metro Police said.
Wood, who’s from Toledo, Ohio, was taken into custody and charged with simple assault and resisting arrest.
The incident is being investigated as a possible hate or bias crime, authorities said.

Many Americans need to and should heed the wisdom of the former US President, ,William Howard Taft, who in a speech ,rightly, declared “Antisemitism is a noxious weed that should be cut out. It has no place in America.”

The perp should have been shot dead. You should assume the “white substance” is lethal, whether it is or not, and respond with lethal force, just as you should assume a gun pointed at you is loaded, whether it is or not. Dead thugs don’t re-thug.

These radicals are left to do whatever they want without being incarcerated. The establishment turns their head. But if someone puts a piece of bacon on the doorknob of a musque, the establishment is frantically looking for the culprit, and to charge them with a hate crime and a Federal offense.

All “legislation” forbidding the carrying of a firearm are in direct violation of the Constitution and NO ONE, other than an act of Congress, may alter the text. or meaning, of the Constitution.

Congress does not have the power. A convention of states can only add delete or change the Constitution. However they have become very good at ignoring or picking it apart illegally I might add. The dumb-assess keep voting them in.

Spray something on me as I mind my own business I will hurt you. Seeing how they are systemically disarming the public and therefore you cannot end this person. I will just hurt him. I will break every finger he has. I may go to jail also. However I will use “self defense”. He threatened to kill me then sprayed me with an “unknown” substance. Thinking about it may just gorge his eyes out. Self Defense in fear for my life. Dirt bags. We need the Dirty Harry’s and the Death Wishers…i.e. Charles Bronson.
