Hundreds of Jewish people headed to Tuesday’s pro-Israel rally in DC were left stranded when bus drivers staged “a deliberate and malicious walk-off,’’ a major Jewish organization said.
Close to a thousand Jews flew out of Detroit to attend the rally. The Jewish Federation of Detroit booked several buses to transport the massive group to the march at DC’s National Mall.
The Jewish rally attendees were left on the Dulles Airport tarmac for about 11 hours before being sent back home, causing them to miss the entire March for Israel event.

The NY Post reports, the drivers had organized a “mass sick out” day to prevent Jewish ralliers from attending the much-anticipated march, leaving just a handful available to meet their obligations.
Name them. Fire them, charge them with a hate crime. Imagine if drivers refused to drive black participants to an event — Where’s the Civil Rights Division of the corrupt DoJ?
“We have learned from the bus company that this was caused by a deliberate and malicious walk-off of drivers,” the spokesperson told The Post.
The bus company — which the federation repeatedly refused to name — told the Jewish Federation of Detroit that a “significant number” of drivers called out sick when they learned they would be taking hundreds of Jewish Americans to the pro-Israel rally, the organization’s David Kurzmann told reporters at a press conference Tuesday.
One of the victims of this overt racism — who spent hundreds of dollars to attend the march with his mother — called the walkout “a deliberate antisemitic act,” that “would have been called a hate crime” if it happened to any other ethnic group.

This is the largest pro-Israel gathering in history,” William Daroff, CEO of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, told attendees of the “March for Israel” on the National Mall in Washington on Tuesday.
Daroff, whose organization represents 50 member groups, added that another 250,000 watched the march on livestream and on C-SPAN.
He added that bus drivers refused to transport 900 participants from the Detroit Federation who arrived at Dulles International Airport when the drivers learned they were going to a pro-Israel event.“Look what we can do in just over a week. Imagine what we can do,” said Eric Fingerhut, president and CEO of the Jewish Federations of North America, which represents 146 Federations.
“Today’s crowd brings together every sector of American life. People of all faiths and creeds, of all races and backgrounds, to say together with unity and strength, ‘We support Israel’s fight to rid itself of the terror threat and restore safety and security to its people,’” Fingerhut said.

This was so funny them all calling out sick, it will be even more funny when they all lose their jobs because their companies are sued out of existence and they are blacklisted for making it happen.

We need to know which company and who were the drivers? Were the drivers Muslim? Were they Nation of Islam drivers? Were they African-American drivers?
I can’t imagine working class white or Latino drivers being this ideologically driven.

Is that your own brain you are using or are you breaking it in for the village idiot? Do you know nothing of Jewish history, both ancient and modern? The Jews in Israel are entitled to be exactly where they are and the aggressors are Hamas, not to mention the general muslim population of Gaza, who are there by virtue of Israeli grace and favour which they have repaid by the most gross barbarism. And now they are reaping the whirlwind. I am not Jewish, but it is plain to me which side justice cleaves to.

Might have been a good idea to vet the company before contracting their services.
The US community of landesmen is too complacent and arrogant. They should have known better. most of the cabs in the area are probably from the same mentality. Thanks to Henry Ford, Dearborn is the center of islamics here in the US.
