The horrible irony of all this is the UN was founded over seventy years ago in the wake of the Holocaust to ensure “never again.” Democracies, both nascent and well-established, comprised the majority of the founding nations of the UN. America was confident that the UN would be an organization which would work in tandem with American national interests in promoting the welfare of humankind and the basic rights of every human spirit.
Instead the UN has made it its mission to destroy the Jewish state and work furiously to make it happen again ….. and again. It has become the very thing it was founded to defeat. It’s sinister obsession with Israel it a sort of genocidal Tourette‘s. It keeps coming back to it like a dog to it’s own vomit.
It’s catastrophic historical failures, too numerous to outline here,is matched only by its incompetence, corruption and complicity. Back in the seventies, Ayn Rand wrote, “When an institution reaches the degree of corruption, brazen cynicism and dishonor demonstrated by the U.N. in its shameful history, to discuss it at length is to imply that its members and supporters may possibly be making an innocent error about its nature—which is no longer possible. There is no margin for error about a monstrosity that was created for the alleged purpose of preventing wars by uniting the world against any aggressor, but proceeded to unite it against any victim of aggression.”

UN Security Council refuses to condemn Hamas war crimes against Israel

“The statement should never have been made, and the United States should never have joined it,” the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office stated.
The United Nations Security Council declined to condemn the war crimes committed by Hamas against Israel.
The war has so far resulted in 900 dead and more than 100 hostages being held by Hamas in Gaza, including children, babies and elderly women.
“This is Israel’s 9/11,” stated the Israeli Ambassador to the UN, Gilad Erdan. “From now, nothing will be as it was.”
Despite the UN’s establishment post-Holocaust to uphold the “Never Again” principle, Erdan criticized its continuous failure to hold Hamas accountable for its actions.
“Hamas’s war crimes must be unequivocally condemned,” he said.
While the UNSC held a closed-door special meeting on the situation, no official statement was released afterward.
US Deputy Ambassador to the UN, Robert Wood, indicated that such a statement was not the immediate priority for Washington.

Russia and China are holding up the UN Security Council in the condemning of Hamas.
They have veto power, so there can’t be any condemnation of Hamas if they are refusing to condemn.

This is why you don’t let Russia join NATO.
Russia tried to join NATO before, but the other countries feared that Moscow would abuse its veto power like it does on the UN Security council.
NATO would not be able to help Israel if the Russians objected.

Yes AYN RAND GOT THE PICTURE OF THE un. So what do we do? continue just talking about it or do we do something about it. Like asking other countries to join us and leave the un as why pay them for the pain they’re causing jews and others. They are incapable to do anything constructive but only desire to continue on their terrible and destructive path. It seems very few are taking up the destructive practices of the un. Few really seem to care. I KEEP PROPOSING THAT THE un IS REDUNDANT,VERY FEW SEEM TO TAKE UP THAT IDEA. IF ONLY PEOPLE THOUGHT ABOUT IT SERIOUSLY AND IF THEY COULD ONLY GET THE APPROPRIATE

The UN sucks, and will always suck. The world’s n. 1 useless (dis)organization. Close it down, and let the world decide on which way to go .. the UN has resolved nothing but to keep a mass of international phonies fat in the wonderful inner restaurant. I ate there every day years ago when working for a branch of the UN.

inflitration, division, and abuse of veto power like at the UN Security Council.
If NATO wanted to help Israel, Russia would veto that to protect their ally Iran-Hamas.

The U.N. is the organization that established Israel; so if hamas don’t like it, they should call for jihad on the U.N…..we’ll see how far that will go…..
