Rep. Rep Thomas Massie questions Merrick Garland on Ray Epps: “You indicted him on a misdemeanors and meanwhile you’re sending grandmas to prison. You’re putting people away for 20 years for merely filming. Some weren’t even there but you got the guy on video saying go into the Capitol, he’s at the sight of first breach, and it’s an indictment on a misdemeanor.”

‘You May Have Just Perjured Yourself’: Massie Goes After Garland Over Jan. 6 Statements

Republican Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie suggested Wednesday that Attorney General Merrick Garland may have perjured himself over his statements about Jan. 6.

Massie played a compilation of previous testimony from DOJ, FBI and other agency officials refusing to comment on ongoing investigations into Jan. 6-related incidents. In one instance shown in the clip, Massie asked Garland how many agents were assets of the U.S. government on Jan. 5 and 6 who were “agitating” the crowd to go into the Capitol and how many agents went into the Capitol. Garland refused to answer.

“Peter Navarro was indicted for contempt of Congress — aren’t you in fact in contempt of Congress when you gave us this answer?” Massie said. “This is an answer that’s appropriate at a press conference. It’s not an answer that’s appropriate when we are asking questions … you cannot continue to give us these answers. Aren’t you in fact in contempt of Congress when you refuse to answer?”

Garland invoked the U.S. Constitution, arguing the separation of powers means the executive branch has control over investigations and that out of respect for those involved and due process, he is not obligated to comment on an ongoing probe.

Massie argued Garland was impeding Congress’ ability to conduct oversight.

“Can you answer [my question] now?” Massie asked.

“I don’t know the answer to that question,” Garland said.

Demerit Garland is a radical Marxist who should be executed for treason.

He is the Leon Trotsky of Dirty Joe’s radical anti-American cabal. He’s as much a Jew as Trotsky was. They utilize their Jewish heritage in the most despicable and emotionally manipulative fashion. To give you an example of the type of Jew Trotsky was: When a visiting Jewish delegation appealed to him to help fellow Jews, he flew into a rage: “I am not a Jew but an internationalist.”

Though the fact is little-known, it was Trotsky, not Stalin, who introduced into Soviet Russia the concentration camp, an institution that under Stalin developed into the monstrous Gulag empire.

Obviously, it’s his communist grandmother who made it to America and planted her poison seeds.

This has nothing to do with the Holocaust and everything to do with his despicable Marxist ideology.

I have nothing but loathing and contempt for this villain. Thank God he’s not on the Supreme Court!

Also the execution system of arrest, torture, ship to town borders, and execute into mass graves. That process was devised in Soviet Russia and adopted by Nazi Germany later used on its dissidents, then the Jews and Roma…

Opening his statements by setting up anyone questioning them as attackers of his heritage or family. “Watch out! I am a Jewish” ..”Be careful about questioning me”.

My grandmother was the youngest of eight sisters in Poland. Fortunately, my grandmother moved to Russia before the wore broke out and was out of reach of the Germans. All of her sisters, her parents, and their children were murdered by the Nazis. Only two nephews survived because they were with partisans.

I would never use that past atrocity as some sort of magical protective cloak to justify anything I do in the heat and now.

What he said is emotionally manipulative and a despicable use of the Holocaust. Shame on him.

Eric. I owe you an apology. In my previous response to your earlier posting I think I misinterpreted what you were saying. Your “he’s as much a Jew as Trotsky was” meant in religious and cultural terms ie not at all. I interpreted it as ‘racially’ ie totally and went on the defensive. Your point is correct. It’s those who blame “communist Jews”on the basis of their race rather than their politics who are antisemitic.

However I think there does seem to be a propensity for educated Jews to be radically left wing. And critics, both left and right, need to be very careful to avoid mis attribution

Watched it all. Sick that Garland has to make the ‘I am an indirect Holocaust victim’ spiel. Therefore, I am a nice man, and have no Nazi inhumane tendencies. Ridiculous, pathetic. Then again, he stated 1,000 times that Weiss was appointed by Trump in the past. What does this mean, psychologically?? That Weiss cannot attack Trump or protect Biden as he was a Trump chip off the old block? Not so.
