=Consider this, these same venomous snakes impeached a President for a phone call (investigating Ukraine corruption).
The Democratic-controlled Senate dismissed both articles of impeachment against Department of Homeland Security secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Wednesday, quashing the Republican push to remove the Cabinet secretary from office. The Senate voted 51–49 along partisan lines to kill the second impeachment charge and 51–48–1 for the first impeachment charge. The upper chamber also voted 51–49 to end the short-lived trial, which began earlier Wednesday (National Review).
A number of other Senate Republicans took turns offering different motions Wednesday afternoon to delay an end to the trial. But each fell short in the Democratic-controlled chamber. Mia Ehrenberg, a DHS spokesperson, said in a statement that the Senate’s decision to reject the impeachment articles “proves definitively that there was no evidence or Constitutional grounds to justify impeachment” (CBS).

The democrat run senate had a choice. Kill the trial and take a couple of days of minimal media bad publicity for doing so, or proceed with a legitimate trial that would expose the horrors of open borders. They killed the trial.

While I despise the man, I despise his boss more. Mayorkas is just a man doing the job he was hired to do and following orders (not similar to WWII’s evils). Does he approve of those orders? I don’t think so…maybe someday he will speak on the issues and his true feelings. I hope so.

Every person has rights under our form of governance but with rights come responsibilities. For instance, those who march in the streets and demand “Death to America!” have failed in their responsibilities and should be punished accordingly. I would add that the MSM fails in their responsibilities when they cover such activities but that’s a different subject for a different thread.

This dismissal of the articles of impeachment without even hearing the massive evidence in support of the impeachment means that the Democratic Party is wholly and entirely responsible for the catastrophic invasion of our nation by millions of illegals, many of which are military-age males sent from China and our Mideast terrorist enemies, They own every crime, every attack, every murder, rape, and arson committed by these illegals. This will come back to haunt them very soon. Schumer has handed every Republican candidate a mighty sword to use against their Democratic opponent. This will lead to massive electoral losses.

They favor a different, failed system which they think they can improve to make everybody equal. I admire the goal but centuries of data provide no evidence that it’s possible and the result of such efforts has always been collapse.
OTOH, democracy also fails so that should not be our goal either.
Totalitarianism is a very common feature of social construction but it also fails.
We’ve created a democratic Republic. It also has cracks.
One thing is absolutely certain…change. We’re not the same country as we were in 1777 and in 2224 we will not be the same country as we are today. Will California, Texas, etc. secede? Will we succumb to communist totalitarianism? Will we survive as a species? Got a crystal ball?
