SEC released details of the US crypto reserve
The SEC has published a clarification on the use of cryptocurrencies in government infrastructure:
💰 BTC is the primary strategic digital reserve asset.
💰 XRP - optimized for state-level financial transactions and interbank liquidity.
💰 SOL - designed for high-speed blockchain applications: government databases, digital identities, and secure voting.
💰 ADA - used for academic accreditation, smart public service contracts and infrastructure management.
🙊 That said, SOL and ADA are not included in the backup strategy, but are recognized as important to US digital infrastructure. ETH was not on the list.
