The Bantam Tools ArtFrame™

is an art machine system for professional artists to create physical art
from digital designs with traditional materials.

  • Tool Control

The Bantam Tools ArtFrame™ offers versatile control across a wide range of tool-handling approaches. It features direct and linear control of pen height for precise adjustments, along with a “floating” Z stage that lets the pen glide smoothly over uneven surfaces.

  • The Professional Art Machine

The Bantam Tools ArtFrame™ ensures predictable results, allowing artists to create the fine art they envision. It operates independently with a micro SD card, enabling users to start a plot and move on to their next piece while the ArtFrame brings their artwork to life.

  • Use Traditional Materials Capable of Fine Art

Using traditional implements controlled with the machine’s precision, artists can utilize media including brushes, charcoal, oil sticks, pastels, and pens on paper, canvas and archival materials.

Bantam Tools ArtFrame™ 1824

Description

The Bantam Tools ArtFrame™ 1824 ships in a very large box. The dimensions are 39 × 36 × 14 inches (99 × 92 × 36 cm).

The Bantam Tools ArtFrame™ 1824 is an art machine system for professional artists to create physical art from digital designs with traditional materials.

The Bantam Tools ArtFrame™ 1824 is engineered for professional artists with custom electronics, software, and a magnetic, sound-dampening work surface. Use brushes to deploy paint or pens to deploy ink on a variety of surfaces including canvas and bristol paper to create archival artworks that will stand the tests of time. Explore the frontier by using traditional and non-traditional mediums, materials, and tools to make new types of marks and create art that hasn’t been possible.

Utilize the multi-color functionality in the Bantam Tools Studio software to create vibrant, multi-colored artworks. Run the machine unattended and work on your next artwork while your machine makes marks.

The Bantam Tools ArtFrame™ 1824 fits on standard 30” deep tables and is a good fit for artists in constrained workspaces who are looking for artworks that will fit on A2 or 18x24” paper.

Inspire gallerists, museum curators, collectors and other artists with the artwork you create with the Bantam Tools ArtFrame Art Machine system.

Whitney Museum of American Art

The Bantam Tools ArtFrame™ was born out of a landmark exhibition of the late Harold Cohen’s work in February 2024. Designed to meet the standards of institutions like the Whitney, it's the solution for artists whose work belongs on the walls of serious collections.
