I charged two $9 in-flight drinks to my Amex Plat a week ago. AA apparently never charged my card even though I saw the flight attendant wait for the chip to be read; similarly, there is no in-flight receipt at AA.com. The flight was only 30 minutes late, and so generosity seems unlikely if not impossible. I don't mean to complain, but I hardly ever have any "incidental" charges and it would seem that, at this rate, I'm never going to have any. (Edit: My Amex plat card is touchless but, again, the FA used the chip instead.) (Second edit: the charge showed up, at both amex and aa.com, fully twelve days late and was automatically reimbursed.)
