This is it! Our final week in the book of Ruth.  This is an EXCITING week as it all comes together! Boaz is a picture of Jesus in this beautiful love story and we are going to see how Amazing God’s love is for us!  So enjoy your study – it’s not an easy one this week and at times it’s a little technical – but if you do the hard working of digging into the deeper meaning of this love story – I know you will be blessed and filled with hope!

If you do not have the study guide – this final week is included free in the printable below (scroll down).  So you can find all of the verses to read and study there.

(Leaders: Copy and paste these into your groups.  If you do not have a group, use these for a personal time of reflection.)

Week 5

Day 1

What lessons can we learn from Ruth? How is Ruth’s love, loyalty and care for her aging mother-in-law a model for us to follow?

Day 2

How does it make you feel to know that Jesus Christ was willing to leave the glories of heaven to come to earth and take on the form of a man?

Day 3

Is your heart leaping right now at all of these connections between Ruth and Boaz and Jesus and us? Share what you are feeling and how God is speaking directly to you through his Word.

Day 4

John 3:16-17 are very popular verses. Now that we have a fresh understanding of Jesus’ work on the cross, how do these verses touch you more personally?   What do you learn about God’s heart in them?

Day 5

What have you learned about God from reading the book of Ruth?

What have you learned about your own life from reading the book of Ruth?

Printable Journal:  For those who did not purchase the Book of Ruth Study Guide this printable Journal below has been created for low-cost printing on a home printer.  This journal includes the first 5 days of the in-depth study –and the last 4 days of the study as we  look deeper into Boaz as the Kinsman Redeemer. I don’t want anyone to miss that content.  The rest of the pages include the SOAK pages for SOAKing your way through the book of Ruth on your own.
**This is not the same as the In-depth Bible Study on Amazon but it is a good guide for those not purchasing the in-depth study.**

Here’s another explanation of the SOAK Bible Study Method and Bible Coloring Chart if you need more guidance:
