To understand the holy days is to appreciate and recognize the heart of God. In The Beauty of Jesus Revealed in the Feasts, we take an in-depth look at the holy feasts set forth by the Lord Himself. You might be learning all of this for the first time, or you may already know how the life of Jesus and future world events are clearly expressed in the feasts. In any case, there are new things to learn each time we open God’s Word.

Here’s a brief overview of the 7 feasts that we’ll be discussing:

  • Passover – Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross
  • Feast of Unleavened bread – Jesus’ death and burial
  • Feast of First Fruits – Jesus’ resurrection
  • Feast of Weeks – The birth of the church
  • The Feast of Trumpets – The rapture of the church
  • The Day of Atonement – The tribulation period
  • The Feast of Tabernacles – The physical return and reign of Jesus on the earth

When we dive deeper into studying these holy days, we discover some incredible truths that have been ingrained in the traditions of these special ceremonies that clearly point to the beauty of the Messiah.

  1. I look forward to reading this book. About 10 years ago, I told God that I wanted to KNOW HIM. He took me to His feasts. I have realized that His ENTIRE PLAN (salvation & for the world) is told through His feasts. We tend to think of these feasts as “Jewish” but they are not. They are for HIS children, & that’s us. You will find that Scripture talks about the feasts being for Israel & “the stranger” – that’s us. One thing that we really need to understand is that God’s Judaism is very different from the Judaism that we see today. It has become a religion full of man’s doctrine instead of God’s. The same can be said of the church. So, I do look forward to reading this book. I only hope they have not “Christianized” God’s feasts by removing God’s truth & replacing it with man’s doctrine. I know I upset people, but I’m tired of people who want to make Scripture say what they want it to say instead of accepting what it really says (usually because they’re afraid of ‘going there’).

  2. YIPPEE! i’ve been wanting to do a study related to food celebrations. I have a huge desire to study feasting and fasting as it relates to a faithful life. thank you for this.

  3. Hi Courtney! I looked for this book on Amazon.in which is Amazon India and its not available. They have listed the book but the category is unavailable. Is it possible for me to join this study without the books? Let me know. This is the first time I have heard about the feasts and I am excited about knowing more.
