Introducing the Book of Psalms 51-100

Join Good Morning Girls as we read through the Bible cover to cover one chapter a day. Here are the resources you need for the Psalms 51-100 study. #Biblestudy #Psalms #WomensBibleStudy #GoodMorningGirls

Welcome to Good Morning Girls!  We are a community of like-minded women – here to cheer you on in your study of God’s Word.  We’ll keep you accountable and encourage you on weary days.

I am here to serve you!

I hope you will commit to spending your summer in the book of Psalms with us. I know you will be blessed.

Below you will find all of the resources you need to get started.  Then watch for more weekly resources here on the blog every Monday and Friday starting June 10th!

Here at Good Morning Girls all the resources are free
but there is an optional Psalms 51-100 Journal for purchase
exclusively on Amazon.

This journal includes:

*  An introduction and background to the Book of Psalms 51-100
*  The Daily Reflection Question
*  The Verse of the Day
*  The Coloring Chart
*  An explanation of the SOAK Method
*  Blank pages for journaling daily

Here’s the Printable Bible Bookmark for Psalm 51-100.

Here is the free printable short SOAK version of the Psalms 51-100 Journal for logging your SOAK study.   This is for those who are not purchasing the Paperback Journal.

This is not the same as the Paperback Journal – this eJournal has been created for low-cost printing on a home printer and does not include the Introduction to Psalms 51-100, Verses of the Day or Reflection questions.

Invite your sons and daughters!

Just like us – our children NEED to be in God’s Word daily.  Children over the age of ten are capable of reading a chapter a day and SOAKing what they have read. I encourage you to introduce this method of study to your children.  Teach them how to drink from the living well of God’s word and soak in all the spiritual nourishment they can!

If you have a son joining you – there is a journal available for them!  The interior is identical to the girls journal.

If you are new, welcome to Good Morning Girls! We are so glad you are here!

We are Reading Through the Bible– one chapter a day – five days a week.

There are no sign-ups or enrollments.

This is a wonderful method that slows us down and helps us soak in every single word.

Here’s what it looks like in my Bible.  You can find more pictures like this out on my Instagram page.

Still not sure how this all works? Here is a video explaining it further.

Here are the highlighters, pens and pencils I mentioned in the video:

Highlighters – Bible Hi-Gliders
Fine Line Non-bleeding Pens – Multi-Colored Gel Pens
Colored Pencils – Crayola Twistables and Crayola Colored Pencils
I use the ESV Inductive Study Bible and the ESV Journaling Bible as my personal study Bible.

  1. Hi! I’m Brittany and I’m leading a facebook group for this summer’s Good Morning Girls bible study! I named this group “Homemaker Encouragement” because I believe that the word of God should be at the center of all that we do as homemakers. We have room in our group – please join us! 🙂

    1. Hi Brittany! I tried the link and it doesn’t work. I also tried searching for the group and couldn’t find it. If it’s a secret group, that may be why. If there’s still room, please post the link again.

    1. Is you group only for marrieds like the one lady posted saying her group was called homemakers??? I’m single and would like to join a group for accountability. Is your group open to single women too?

  2. Hi, I’m trying to find a way to connect with other women who want to grow closer to God. My husband, who I’ve been married too for 6 months now, is the worship director at a church in our area. I moved to a new state when we got married and although I’ve tried very hard, I’ve had a very difficult time connecting with the people there. I’ve really felt my relationship with God suffering because of it. I’m really excited to get connected and start growing closer to God again.

See you all on June 10th 🙂

    1. Hi Reneyshea,

I hope you have found a group by now but if you have not – please scroll through the comment section on this post and you will find lots of links of groups to join.

      Much Love,
      Courtney 🙂

  3. I really need this I’m in the area in Ohio where the tornado touched down on Memorial Day night. We are praising the Lord that we were missed . But alot of others were not as fortunate. Does anyone know how much the book cost on Amazon? Also I do not have a group to join.

    1. Hi Cindy,

I’m sorry for my slow reply. Please scroll through the comment section and you will find lots of links of groups to join. We would love for you to join us!

The Journal is 8.99 here: https://amzn.to/2MAP6m4

It is optional though – so you do not need it to join us 😉

      Much Love,
      Courtney

  4. I am leading a group called GMG Okeechobee and Friends. It is only the second time of me leading a group and I really look forward to continuing to grow with this study! The group is “closed” for privacy of those in it and the posts/discussions, but people are welcome to request to join! I named it Okeechobee and “friends” so that anyone in our area can join or any friends outside of our area!

  5. Hello ladies,

I’ll be leading an email group as we delve into the powerful Word of God. I love to lead Bible Studies and encourage women to go deeper into the Word and grow and experience God more than ever before.

If you’re looking to join an email group, please do drop me an email.
    Memoirzoffaith@gmail.com

Look forward to studying with you all
    Blessings in Christ

  6. Hi my name is Maria. I’m a 60 year old woman living in a small mountain town in Colorado. Are there any groups out there with a mix of the young and old. Would love to join a group.

    1. I would like a group like that as well but I’m not on Facebook or any type of social media (except YouTube). Any suggestions?

      Thanks!
      Monica

      1. Hi Monica. In some of the above comments, there are a few email groups available. You could email the leader so she can add you to her list????. I hope you find a group that’s a perfect fit.

  7. Hi! I’m not sure if I should be posting here or not but here it goes.
I have been a Homemaker for 17 years. Since I was a child I knew I wanted to be at home supporting my husband, family and home. I am not religious but very spiritual and find myself being called to connect with God more. Everyone thinks I am crazy because although they believe in God, they do not talk with Him or feel the need to connect. So I feel like I must do this in secret and almost feel ashamed. Which is not good.
Am I in the right place and should I download the chapter checklist and just dive in regardless of what others may think?
I am also reading the Women Living Well book and have quiet time carved out And a space to be alone.
Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.

  8. Hello everyone,

I am looking forward to this as I have never one anything like this before. I am joining for the summer Psalms 51-100 study. I teach first grade in Northern Arizona on a reservation. I invited my Mother do this with me. She is in Texas which is where I am originally from. I am late but I ordered us both the journals and I am feeling very blessed to have found this opportunity online. My name is Wanda and my dear mother is Sandra. She is not online.

  9. Hi! I started a group for this Psalms 51-100 study so that I’d have accountability partners. This is the first study I’ve EVER hosted or led. I thought one or two of my friends would join, but since I opened the group THREE days ago, There are 28 women in the group, most of them I don’t even know! I just felt that tugging that said, “If you open the group, women will come.” That’s been true! I’m excited to see how it all turns out by the time we are finished with the study. 🙂 Thank you so much, Courtney, for all your hard work and your kind heart!

    1. Hi Stephanie!

That is so exciting to hear! Thank you for stepping out and leading. I pray God blesses your group!

      Much Love,
      Courtney 🙂

  10. I can’t get the links to the pens and Bibles you use. Can you send them please and thanks!!

  11. I live inSatellite Beach Florida, just 40 minutes east of Orlando. I’m looking forward to this study! Thank you

  12. Hi there!

I just stumbled across this site and I absolutely LOVE it!! I am a fairly new believer and have never read completely through the bible. This has been what I have been looking and praying for SO long to find!

Do you know what date you will be starting a new study together? I am going to go ahead and do Ecclesiates with my daughters now but would like to join when Psalms is complete for the next study in order to get involved in on line groups, walk together with other women online, etc.

Is there a date in August so I could put a reminder in my calendar?

Thank you and blessings to all!
