Hello Stampers,
Do you have wood mount stamps that you would like to convert into cling mount stamps? If so this post is for you. It is simple with the microwave and left over cling sheet. Also I to convert clear mount stamp to cling.

Step by step 

First we have to place our wood mount stamp in the microwave. Now on the time this could vary depending of the power of your microwave. My microwave is powerful. I did 5 second for a medium stamp and 10 for a big stamp.  My best advice is start at about 3 to 5 seconds and see if it remove easy, if not place the stamp back in the microwave for about 10 seconds. You shouldn’t need more then the 10 seconds.

Do not put more then one stamp at a time in the microwave. You want to peal the rubber stamp and sticker soon you open the microwave, if not it will set again as it cool off. That is the reason for only one at a time. 

Remove from the microwave and peel the red rubber and also the sticker. 

Place the sticker onto the back for the rubber stamp. 

For the cling, I use left over cling from cling stamp that I already assemble. All the bits and piece that are left on the sheet I use them to convert my wood stamps. Also I use them to adhere onto the back of the clear mount stamps. No need to cover the entire stamp, just bit and piece will give you a good cling to use on the stamparatus or clear block. For the clear month you just need to add a piece of the cling onto the back no extra step needed. 

Now that you see how this is all done, make sure to save all your sheet of cling mount after you are done mounting your stamps.
Even if you don’t have stamps to convert, these extra piece of cling will come in use at time to time. If ever your cling get at a point that it don’t cling anymore, then you have piece to add onto the back of your stamp. What would make a cling stamp not to cling anymore, it could be many reason but the most popular one I am sure would be dust on your cling. If you leave your cling stamp face up on your desk it is a good change it will collect dust. not saying your room is dusty but I think it is safe to say we all have dust in the air. In my case it could be dog hair also.
