It's Sunday and time for another card sketch or as some people might say template.
Each week I create a card sketch and then stamp a card using the sketch. Today's sketch is a clean and simple card sketch.
I choose the Cool Treats stamp set for today's card. It seemed like the perfect stamp set for a warm summer day. In Minnesota summers are often too short!!! So no time to waste stamping up some cards with this fun stamp set and coordinating Frozen Treats Framelits.
One of my grandchildren's favorite things about staying overnight is Ice Cream for breakfast. After all it is a diary product right? They love to add sprinkles and I have a cupboard full of colors and shapes.
The sprinkles on this ice cream cone are so tiny and a bit of a challenge but I love the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets on page 203 of the catalog. These make tiny items a breeze to adhere to your project.
Simply cut your cardstock in the desired size and cut the multipurpose sheet the same size. Peel one side of the adhesive sheet off and place your cardstock on it. Then run it through the big shot like normal with your die. Then just peel the sprinkles as they will be self adhesive and adhere to the ice cream cone.
The cardbase is Pool Party and the ovals are Whisper White (3 1/4" tall oval) and Flirty Flamingo (3 1/2" scallop oval) ovals from the Layering Ovals Framelits.
Below is a supply list with the Stampin' Up! Products I used to make this card.
