The Stamp Review Crew – Cool Treats

Hi there!  Welcome to addinktive designs and the latest blog hop for The Stamp Review Crew.  This round we are focussing on the stamp set, Cool Treats.

The SRC are a group of International Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators who love to show you lots of creative ways to use your stamps.

If you get lost along the way just click on the banner above to take you to the main blog where you will see a list of participants for this round.

Did I surprise you?  Well… maybe not with a z-fold but were you expecting ice-cream? I did manage to stamp an ice-cream in a cone on the envelope, but the little strawberry 3 step stamp from the Cool Treats’ Set was the starting point for my project.

The crate of strawberries is made from the new Wood Crate Framelits and Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack (release date – June 2017).  A sample was given to attendees as part of a Make ‘n’ Take project at On Stage in Sydney.  I cut out the pieces of the crate but decided to keep it for a different project with a z-fold in mind.

The bottom pieces of the crate were cut away so I could add box card inserts and some ‘hay’ from the Basket Builder Framelits Dies to form the pop-up box card section.

I wanted to show you something very different with this stamp set; I hope I succeeded.

Thanks for taking a peek at my project for The Stamp Review Crew. Up next on the hop we have our SRC Coordinator, the talented Artisan Design Team Member, Tanya Boser

Or you can hop on back to my stamping friend, Twila Davis

Both ladies are sure to have projects that will get your mouth watering for some Cool Treats.

Here’s some tags I made a while ago with this set –
