Stamp Review Crew - Dino Days

Welcome back to another Stamp Review Crew blog hop. The Stamp Review Crew is a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world that get together on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month for a blog hop. Each hop we showcase one stamp set and show you just how much you can do with it. Get ready for lots of inspiration and lots of reasons to use (or buy😊) this stamp set! Currently you are visiting Lou Kitzelman on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. Hi!

For this hop we are featuring Dino Days.

This is a really fun stamp set that comes with the coordinating Dino Dies. You can quickly whip up fun cards in no time. Which was handy seeing as I have been super busy this week. This set also lends itself to lots of creative and inovative techniques - I have so many ideas running through my head to try when I get time!

So seeing as this is my first inking of this stamp set, I thought I'd do something simple,  bright and fun.

Aren't those dinosaurs just the cutest! I love that you can stamp and die cut the spikes separately.

Did you notice the spots on the Pretty Peacock dinosaur? They were die cut using one of the dies and stuck on. I love the added dimension. Top tip - add dots of glue where you would like the spots to be and then use your Take your Pick tool to easily position the spots.

I have used the coordinating Dinoraur Designer Series Paper as well. If you get a bit stumped at the start of a project do what I did - use the colours in the DSP. It is perfect for those times you have trouble starting a project. Someone else has done the thinking for you! The scattered triangle die adds some interest and mirrors the design in the DSP. There is so much in the bundle!

I love this sentiment! I'm not sure who this card will be for but I think it would equally suit both adults and children. The message you write inside will make it perfect for anyone!

Make sure you hop around to see what all the crew have done with this gorgeous stamp set. I can't  wait to get more time to use this set more. Next up is my stamping bestie, Kelly Kent. She is sure to have all sorts of fabulous to show us!
