You know when you just need a proper treat? I absolutely love this new Exfoliating Shower Gel from Jo Malone. My version is Lime, Basil & Mandarin which I would easily say is not my favourite fragrance, but there is something very cologne-y and fresh about it that makes it really rather lovely for the shower. I also think that maybe there is a tad less basil in it which was always what put me off this fragrance in the first place. Nobody needs to smell like fresh pesto.
It’s definitely a unisex fragrance – I think I’m going to have trouble wrestling this from Mr BBB and Max – and the exfoliating grains are properly effective using jojoba and bamboo. My skin was softened afterwards and not at all dry. It’s got a decent amount of fragrance in it so it kind of wafts about the shower while you’re exfoliating and it just feels like a luxury product. If you need a treat to self, definitely this. It doesn’t launch til 1st June, not very far away, and it’s £30. I think it will last about a week in my house – I’m fully expecting not to get my fair share!
