H.R. 3331 would require the Secretary of State to report to the Congress on the extent of Hizballah’s influence on the Lebanese government, the effectiveness of the Lebanese military, and related matters. It also would require the Secretary to provide to the Congress a strategy to increase diplomatic engagement between the United States and Lebanon and to support the Lebanese military.
