This is me with the original 1000 Hearts that I made to spread kindness (this was just the beginning) x

Making the world a kinder place, one heart at a time...

Ever since I was a small child, I’ve made things with fabric, thread, buttons and beads. I love colour and am fascinated by small treasures and talismans.

Having always worked for non-profit organisations supporting people through times of distress, I know what a difference kindness makes. We all need a little bit of love, hope and comfort at times.

1000 Hearts brings together my creative and altruistic passions. The project distributes pocket hearts for free through our Facebook page, and many 1000 Hearts sewing groups are starting to pop up...people around the world are sewing hearts and giving them away in simple acts of kindness.

The hearts for sale here are all lovingly handmade by me, the founder and chief heartist at 1000 Hearts. They are created with care and make beautiful gifts. The sales help to keep this kindness project running; when you purchase a heart, you are helping spread the kindness to more people.
