Saturday Coffee Cafe - Autumn Greetings

Happy Saturday and welcome to the cafe!  I'm so glad you decided to stop in today to see what's brewin'...

It's hard to comprehend that it's October already!  Part of it may be because it's still in the high 70's here, not quite sweater weather, but it'll be here soon enough.  My card, however, makes me think of there being a chill in the air and I can almost smell that sweet warm cider!

For my card, I used several wonderful items from Reverse Confetti!  The background was created with two of my fave dies: Plaid Lines Small and Plaid Lines Big.  The fun images and greeting are from the new Autumn Apple Cider set!   It may not be coffee in my cup today, but hot cider counts, right?

Saturday Coffee Cafe - Cup of Friendship

Happy Saturday and welcome to the Cafe!  I'm so happy you stopped in to see what's brewin' today...

I love using pretty coffee cups for all sorts of thing - pens/pencils, paint brushes, small tools, plants and, yes - flowers!

For my card, I used Taylored Expressions Brick Embossing Folder for the background and blended some Distress Oxide Antique Linen ink.  The beautiful image and sentiment are from Reverse Confetti's set: Cup of Friendship!

With Gratitude

There are so many things to be grateful for - both big and small - even with all the craziness in our world .  Hearing birdsong, feeling the warmth of the sun, or  chatting with a friend brings joy to my soul.

I'm also very grateful to have been part of the Reverse Confetti design team for the past 4 years.  It has been one of my greatest experiences!  I've been inspired by amazing designers, worked with incredible products developed by Jen DelMuro and got to share my creations with all of you!  While I'm stepping down from the team, I'll always be a huge Reverse Confetti fan and I'm sure we'll still see each other around the crafting world!

For my card, I layered the card base with a design from the Cue The Confetti paper pad. I cut two pieces of Premier Polar White cardstock with the new Above The Clouds Cover Panel.  With one cut piece, I cut off the clouds and added it to the back of the other cut piece, brushed the ends with ink and then adhered to the card base.  I cut Mist cardstock using the All Framed Up Die and adhered the frame over the Above The Clouds Cover Panel

The beautiful image is from the Stained Glass Butterflies set with coordinating dies and I copic colored the image to coordinate with the pattern paper.  To finish, I stamped one of the sentiments from the Mixed Messages stamp set and added a few clear sequins.

For my card, I layered Tangerine cardstock to the card base.  On a piece of Premier Polar White cardstock, I stamped the orange branch image - from the Orange Blossom stamp set - in Sand ink at the top and bottom.  I then colored other images from the Orange Blossom stamp set and arranged them.  In the center, I used the YOU word die to cut Midnight and Lime Green cardstock and added some highlighting dots with a white gel pen.  To finish, I added one of the sentiments from the YOU Coordinates stamp set.

Here For You

Sometimes there are no words.  It could be a big or small situation that a friend or family member is experiencing which you want to help them through.  In those times, the best comfort may be to just let them know you're there for them.

For my card, I cut Premier Polar White cardstock with the new Along The Dotted Lines Cover Panel then sprinkled with some bronze paint.  I gold embossed this sentiment from the Mixed Messages set onto Dark Roast cardstock.  These pretty images are from the Lily of the Valley stamp set and coordinating dies.

Drink More Coffee

Reverse Confetti is one of the fabulous Super Sponsors for the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Hop and in honor of this popular event, I've chosen to do a coffee-themed card today!

I'm a huge coffee drinker - from morning til night.  I don't think the caffeine even affects me anymore!  That being said, I loved how this sentiment from the new You Coordinates stamp set (stamped on Premier Polar White cardstock cut with the new Along The Dotted Lines Cover Panel) was such a great segue to the focal area of the card and is so me!

For the frame, I cut Lime Green cardstock using the Stitched Squares Confetti Cuts.  Then I cut Dark Roast cardstock with the 'coffee' die found in the Drink More Coffee Confetti Cuts, lined the frame with the word diecuts and highlighted the letters with a white gel pen.  The coffee cup, saucer and spoon images are from the Drink More Coffee stamp set.

Sweet Easter Greetings

Hey, 'Fetti Fans!  Are you as excited about Spring as I am?!  Today, I actually saw my tulips starting to peek through...it makes me so happy!!  Another thing that makes me happy is Reverse Confetti's newest release.  If you haven't seen it all, head on over to the store and check it out.

For my card, I cut Premier Polar White cardstock with the Big Stripes Cover Panel and paper pieced several cardstock colors:  Piggy Bank, Lime Green, Iced Aqua, Bumblebee, Brick and Sand and taped them on the back to hold in place.  I then created a shaker by adhering a piece of acetate over the circle opening on the back and then lined the outside of the circle and the edges of the card with foam tape.  After adding some fun sequins and sprinkles into the circle, I 'enclosed' the back of the card with a piece of Premier Polar White cardstock.

To decorate the card, I added these sweet, spring images from the new Hop Into Spring stamp set and coordinating Confetti Cuts.  I finished by adding the sentiment cut from Dark Roast using the Happy Easter Confetti Cuts.

For my little project today, I cut Tangerine cardstock with the Pencil &Treat die, folded it in half and scored it 1/4" on either side of where I folded to create room to place an Easter treat inside.  Before closing the top, I placed a bit of paper grass to make the treat holder look like a carrot.  Then I decorated the treat with these sweet images from the HOP INTO SPRING stamps and dies.

In case you missed any of the projects I've shared over the last several days, here's a little recap...

My slimline card is bursting with Spring!  I created a background using distress oxide inks then had so much fun coloring all these wonderful images from the new HOP INTO SPRING stamp set that has a coordinating die set!  To the sky, I added clouds and the sun using the Sun 'n Clouds Confetti Cuts.

 And for my next project...

I created a sweet shadow box using the new HEAD IN THE CLOUDS COVER PANEL.  I cut two from the die and 'attached' them together with side panels. The side panels were scored 1/4" down each side and folded in then the HEAD IN THE CLOUDS cut pieces were attached to each panel.  On front, I used the larger frame from the All Framed Up Confetti Cuts to frame the shadow box then added another layer of clouds from the top of the HEAD IN THE CLOUDS COVER PANEL.

For the back piece, I cut Iced Aqua cardstock with the new ALONG THE DOTTED LINES COVER PANEL.  How CUTE are these darling images?!  The images and sentiment are from the new ENCHANTED GARDEN and coordinating dies.  I framed the sentiment cutting Dark Roast cardstock with one of the dies from the All Framed Up Confetti Cuts.

Tomorrow is the BIG day!!  Be sure to stop back for Release Day and more projects to inspire you!
