Keeping Christmas Blog Hop - November 2020

 Good Morning!

Today marks ONE MONTH before Christmas!  YIKES!  Even in a pandemic this year has flown by. Anyway, being November 25th means the final Keeping Christmas Blog Hop for 2020!

I started out with one project and then after seeing Jennifer McGuire's recent alcohol ink technique, I changed it up.  I love this technique particularly on holographic cardstock!  I made many backgrounds with this technique but I'm only showing two cards today.

The photos don't really do them justice.  They shine and glimmer IRL much more.  Now hop along the list below to see the rest of the Design Team's projects:

Did you know Christmas is just three months away? THREE MONTHS!

Have you started your Christmas cards?

Well, whether you have or not, come hop with us and see some holiday inspiration!

I have four cards today.  Actually, two pairs.  I tried out a new-to-me technique of Stamping Faux Monoprint.  Jennifer McGuire has a great tutorial on her blog.  Here are two I did and turned into cards.

Keeping Christmas Blog Hop August 2020

Good Morning!

It's August 25th!

It's time for the Keeping Christmas Blog Hop.

Four months until Christmas!  WOW!

I've been reorganizing my craft room this month.  I discovered I have A LOT of paper!  Not just printed paper pads but handmade backgrounds as well.  So, I decided I'd start trying to pare down this stash of mine.  So today's cards are made with background papers I created a long time ago.  They were created with the shaving cream technique.  I took some tree dies and stamps by My Favorite Things and created some bright and cheery cards.

Please hop through the list below and see what the rest of the Team has created this month for Christmas inspiration.  If you haven't created any Christmas cards yet, it's going to be here before we know it!

Keeping Christmas Inspirational Blog Hop - June 25th

Good Morning, again!

Today is June 25th!

That means one thing on my blog and many others', time for a Keeping Christmas Inspiration Blog Hop!

I'm a little late posting today.  It's been one of those weeks. Who knew you could have so much going on without even leaving your house? I had started my project and then things went awry.  Nothing bad, just too many things all requiring attention at the same time.  Ever have days or weeks like that?

Anyway, below is my final project.  I had one thing in mind and then I wound up with something totally different.  I set the other thing on the back burner for now.

Not alot of fuss for this one.  Makes for a good masculine holiday card.

Be sure and hop through the list to see the rest of the Team's projects for this month:

Keeping Christmas - Merriest Wishes

Good Morning!

It's May 25th, which means it's time for the
Keeping Christmas Inspirational BlogHop.

I've been taking the Spring Card Camp 2 at Online Card Classes this month and decided to use one of the techniques and make a Christmas card for this month's blog hop.
I did a masking technique and die cuts.  I cut the ornament dies from masking paper and adhered the negative to cardstock.  Then I blended the ink on each ornament, after which I used some Christmas border stamps and Versafine Black Onyx ink and stamped them on the ornaments.  After peeling off the masking paper, I drew lines with a silver colored pencil, stamped the sentiment and adhered it to a black cardbase.  For the final touch I  added the colored enamel dots.

Keeping Christmas - April 2020

Good Morning!

It's April 25th, which means it's the day for the
Keeping Christmas Blog Hop.

This is an inspirational Christmas blog hop full of Christmas cards, tags, bags, other Christmas paper projects to inspire you throughout the year to help you get in the  mood to create Christmas cards all year round so by the time Christmas comes, you have quite a stash already made and ready to sign and mail.

I thought it would be fun to create Christmas cards with a non-Christmas stamp set.  So, I used a new stamp set from Catherine Pooler Designs' Monthly Club Sursee, Fun Forest. The sentiment is from "Driving To The Holidays" by Flora and Fauna.  I created five cards in five different color combos, including a couple that could be used for masculine cards.  Once I chose my color combinations and layout, it really didn't take that long to create these. The card bases are Neenah 110 lb Solar white inked up by swiping the ink pad along the edges.

Now, hop through the DT list below and check out all of the wonderful festive cards by the team.:

Hope you enjoy our hop this month.  Be sure and come back next month on the 25th for new inspiration!
