I am sure this weeks inspiration board will have a large gallery because Tim Holtz has the most amazing fan-base I have ever seen! I hesitated just a little bit at first, because either you love his style, or you hate it. There aren’t that many people sitting on the fence (LOL)! I decided to go for it anyway, since you don’t actually have to use any of Ranger’s or Tim Holtz’ products to play along! I’m sure that no matter what your opinion; the rich colors of distressed inks, stains, and paints, the fabulous mixed media styles (there are some CAS projects on the board too), the strong textures and metals.... etc. in all of the wonderfully artsy pins on our inspiration site: The Crafts - Tim Holtz Pinterest Board will still inspire you! You could even feel free to just use the same products as your inspiration photo if you have them! There are so many directions you can take this - so CRAFT ON with Tim Holtz inspired designs!
If you are unfamiliar with how to grab the hyperlinks from a Pinterest Board, here is a helpful video:
Challenge Goals: Please don't be tempted to upload a card that you have made prior to this challenge, just because an image on the board reminds you of it - this is all about creating from an inspiration. So, please take the challenge of allowing your creative juices to flow based on the images you browse this week. Remember, it can just be the color palette or style that ignites your creativity. Whatever draws you to the designs, take the challenge of doing something uniquely inspired today.
Please remember that all inspiration links should be inspired by The Crafts - Tim Holtz Pinterest Board by twinsonboard. Remember that your card might also end up on my Ongoing Inspiration Genius Board too, especially if it shows signs of extra deep inspiration! (smiles)
Use the keyword: IC551 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many images to choose from, or just don't subscribe to Pinterest, I've uploaded 10 of my favorites. So just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger and to get their links on SCS. Don't forget to let us know which photo served as your inspiration piece please.
Wow, glad you decided to go with this board! Here's my card.
I've also included my inspiration.

ohhh....fun, fun, fun today Audrie! Thanks so much for inspiring.
I have to tell you that I just went for it with my bkg and played until I was happy with the look..I had fun.
I'm not a big crafter Timmy fan but there are a LOT of really cool things on this board!! I even saw a card by our own miss Susie Australia on his board!! One of her Crazy Bird creations!!! I'll be trying something today Audrie...thanks for the great challenge like always! PS, Tim was at our Great Yosemite Stamp Escape two years in a row a few years back. He is actually a very good teacher.

I woke up to a beautiful gallery this morning! Love all of your creative designs thus far.
I also wanted to let you know that I just uploaded a new video to YouTube where I talk about the Inspiration Challenge. Check it out if you have time later today (it's uploading now):
I do love TH products! I have made two totally different creations for this challenge: Here's my "Birdbrain Robot" card that I've combined with yesterday's Mix-ablity challenge.
Thanks, Audrie, for another fantastic challenge! Though I'm not ready to jump into mixed media head first, I was able to mix it up a little today. Here is my pale attempt:
Audrie- awesome site- perfect for inspiration, thanks! I especially liked the brown butterfly card I used a Holtz embossing folder for my clock image, and added a butterfly and flower from my stamping friends, along with a recycled straw hat image. Finished with a scissors sticker, and an admire brad. Here's Straw hat collage
