More Challenges

I found a challenge over at Paper Playful [a great tool for a list of challenges-by-day] that inspired me;  Use Your Stuff #486 - Flowers.

I grabbed out my Heartfelt Creations Classic Sunflower and matching die [no longer available], and went to work.  Did you know that Heartfelt Creations is closing down? They are currently running a close-out sale, 50% off 5 - 60% off 10 - 70% off 15. Another one bites the dust....so sad.

I used the HFC Classic Leaf Dies for my leaves.

The HB is from retired PTI Birthday Bash Sentiments.  When I use HFC supplies, I always make a more elaborate card.  That said, I am also entering this into the Wednesday Simon Says; Lots of Layers

Thanks Challenges!  Fun times!

Just Us Girls Challenge #663 - Photo/Moodboard Week

This is another semi new challenge over at JUGS.  You might get just a photo, or you might get a moodboard - either way, let yourself be inspired!

For my card, the colors [it's been forever since I made a black & white card!] and the flowers inspired me.

I used a die from Heartfelt Creations; Sun Kissed Fleur [discontinued]. It cuts many flowers at one time [so fabulous!] and I just picked out the 3 I wanted.

The sentiment is from a OOB company. Edited: Too funny, this card also worked for the SCS Inspiration Challenge 894. [I just added yellow centers]. I went this THIS pillow.

Your turn!  How does the mood board inspire you?  Come on over to the JUGS Challenge #663 and upload your card.

Returning to a Past

Yesterday, I was looking for a reason to create.  My list of challenges isn't all that long, and I have a lifetime supply of stashed cards, but stamping really is my lifeline and I need to continue to do it! That said, I popped over to Splitcoast Stampers.  They run weekly daily challenges.  There I go!  I can join back in those challenges!

I am starting with the Featured Stamper Challenge.  It was always one of my favorites.  I used Kate's card HERE.  I am always drawn to dots and pretty flowers.

I used the Heartfelt Creations Rustic Sunflower stamps and dies for the Copic colored flower, and an unbranded leaf die cut for the leaves.

My sentiment is from Poppy Stamps Art Deco Inspiration. (It was still on my desk from my last post).

=======================================

I was so inspired, I went ahead and joined in on the Sketch 940 Challenge too.  It was a basic sketch, and yeah, it worked out well for me!

I used the colors from Color Throwdown #725; red, green, brown to complete the sketch.

I water colored the image from Altenew's Blossom & Bloom stamp set.  The sentiment is from Memory Box Signature Greetings.

I think I will try and play along in a few of the SCS daily challenges.  They have great challenges, and a few I am really interested in.

Heartfelt Creations December Alumni Hop

This is last Alumni hop of 2022 and forever.  Sadly, Heartfelt Creations will no longer be having these monthly hops.

Yeah, I realize that Christmas is over.  That said, I needed a card [last minute] for Christmas, so this was made before. 😀

I used the following products from HFC to make this card:

Seasonal Wreath Paper Collection

Winter Wreath Accents Dies

I seriously love being able to use the pre-drawn and colored images from the paper pack!  Makes for a beautiful card!  My sentiment is computer generated.

Below are the participating Designers for this month's hop.  Be sure and leave a comment while hopping for the randomly drawn $25 gift certificate!  Good Luck!  It has been my pleasure participating in this monthly hop over the last 9 years!

Heartfelt Creations November Alumni Hop

It's time for the HFC Alumni Hop.  It's always fun to see the eye candy on this hop!

For this month, I went with dies and the stunning designer papers that are created in house.

I started with a 5x5 card base, and using the Elegant Mosaics Designer Paper, I adhered a few layers.

Using the Seasonal Wreath Collection Designer Paper, and the Summer Wreath Dies, I cut out a bunch of images [from the papers], and adhered those to the card front.  Lastly, I added a sentiment from For My Friend Sentiments.  I just love the paper pages that match the dies.  Sometimes, using what you have works rather perfectly!  That's it for me this month.

Below, you will find the participating Designers for this month's hop.  Be sure and leave a comment as you hop, as there is a potential win of a $25 gift certificate to Heartfelt Creations!

Heartfelt Creations October Alumni Hop

It's time for the HFC Alumni Hop.  So much fun eye candy!

Since it is so close to Halloween, I used Copic purples.  Not a color I use often, but it works for this month :).

I used the following Heartfelt Creations products to make this 5x5 card:

Elegant Mosaic Designer Paper Collection

Rounded Sunlight Window Dies

 Large Wild Rose Cling Stamp

 Large Wild Rose Die

Just For You Sentiments Cling Stamps

That's it for me this month.  Below is the list of participating Designers.  Don't forget to leave a comment for the random drawing of a $25 gift certificate to Heartfelt Creations!  Enjoy the hop~
