Threats On Train Service in Nice, France: “I am going to bleed France”

This seems to be a daily occurrence in France.  France is home to Europe’s largest Muslim minority. This incident comes the day after  the anniversary of the catastrophic terror attack in Nice on July 14, 2016 that killed 86 and injured 458.

“Big concerns for the passengers of a train service making the connection between Menton and Marseille this Thursday evening. While the train had stopped for a few minutes at Nice station, several people got out to alert the railway security agents (SUGE). During this first part of the trip, an individual exhibited a knife on the train while making disturbing comments.

Officers quickly located the suspect. On him, they discovered a knife with a blade of about 6 inches which they immediately pushed aside. The man was handcuffed and the police arrived to pick him up.

According to a source familiar with the matter, several passengers then confirmed to officials that this man had drawn a bladed weapon on board, and that he had notably declared:  “The French are all sons of bitches, you have been plundering us for 25 years, you are going to pay for what you did in Syria ” , adding:  “ I am going to bleed France ” .

The 29-year-old respondent, already known to the police, was taken into custody. No injuries are reported but passengers were shocked by this scene. An investigation was opened and entrusted to the judicial support group (GAJ) of the Nice police station. The police will have to shed light on this man’s profile and his real intentions.”
