Missouri governor says he’ll pardon St. Louis couple who defended their home against armed mob

39

For Missouri voters, the choice this Presidential election could not be clearer.

Imagine that an armed mob brandishing weapons knocks down your security gate, overwhelms your home, threatens your family with arson and rape, threatens to burn your home and your family down, and kill you.

Police and 911 do not not respond. What do you do?

Soros has backed prosecutors in multiple cities — look where it’s taking us. If you defend yourself, your home, it’s now a crime, according to Soros-backed prosecutors.

Soros-Backed Prosecutor Indicts Couple Who Defended Their Home From Armed Mob

Missouri governor says he’ll pardon St. Louis couple who pointed guns at protesters after indictment

By Aris Folley, The Hill, October 7, 2020:

issouri Gov. Michael Parson (R) vowed on Wednesday to pardon Mark and Patricia McCloskey, the white couple who drew national attention over the summer after footage of them pointing guns at Black Lives Matter protesters outside their home went viral, after the pair was indicted on charges related to the incident the day before.

Parson said at a news conference on Wednesday that he “most certainly would” issue a pardon for the couple should they be convicted on counts of exhibiting a weapon and tampering with evidence brought against them over the June incident, according to The Associated Press.

“We’ll let it play out and see how this all comes out in the courts, but I stand by what I said,” Parsons continued. The governor also suggested he was prepared to issue pardons for the couple back in July after circuit attorney Kim Gardner launched an investigation into the June 28 incident.

A grand jury in St. Louis indicted the McCloskeys on the charges earlier on Tuesday. The couple had already been charged with felony unlawful use of a weapon in July and the jury leveled the evidence tampering charge against the couple this week.

When pressed at the time if he’d consider pardoning the couple if they were charged over the incident, Parson said, “I think that’s exactly what would happen.” He also said then that he thinks the couple “did what they legally should do” during the incident

The charges come after the couple was seen in late June pointing guns at Black Lives Matter protesters that had been passing their home in a gated community while in transit to the home of Mayor Lyda Krewson (D). The protesters had been calling on the mayor to resign after she read aloud activists’ personal information on a livestream.

But as the demonstrators passed the couple’s home, footage showed the couple yelling and pointing guns at some of the protesters.

The couple later claimed in an interview with local CBS affiliate KMOV that they pulled out their guns in their own defense and that they were afraid for their lives. However, one of the leaders of the demonstration, Rasheen Aldridge, has said the protest had been peaceful despite the couple’s actions.

The incident has gained widespread attention in the months since as President Trump and other Republicans have sought to defend the couple. Trump claimed over the summer that the couple would have been “beat up badly if they were lucky” and that their residence “was going to be totally ransacked and probably burned down like they tried to burn down churches.”

The couple spoke at the Republican National Convention in late August. There, they bashed the Democratic Party, with Mark McCloskey accusing Democrats of “no longer” seeing the “government’s job as protecting honest citizens from criminals but rather protecting criminals from honest citizens.”

“What you saw happen to us could just as easily happen to any of you who are watching from quiet neighborhoods around our country,” Patricia McCloskey also warned during the address.

It’s absurd they are even being charged!
They have the Castle Doctrine in their state.
How about disbarring the Soros paid for prosecutor, St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner ?
Why pardon? Just dismiss it!

August 3, 2020

Missouri Ethics Commission revealed the donation made directly from Soros to the Missouri Justice and Public Safety PAC – for which Soros is the only donor so far. The PAC has already spent at least $104,393 – including $77,804 directly on Gardner, and a payoff of accumulated debt.

Soros spokesman Michael Vachon told Just The News that Soros has made no secret that he supports prosecutors like Gardner for criminal justice reform….

Oh sorry lunch, I did not mean to to offend you. Many commenters on Geller Report post comments off topic, because the news streams are very rapid and varied right now. Pamela seems to be OK with that, at least she has never blocked commenters who do it.

Agreed. Gun control really works, just ask the experts, North Korea, Nazi Germany, Communist China, Russia, etc.

To me, gun control means using both hands when you fire.

If you are trespassing it is not a ‘peaceful protest’. This is a private street that belongs to the residents.

I live in St. Louis. The private streets are architectural gems that committed persons such as the McCloskeys spent decades restoring to their former glory. People have some ridiculous idea that this is like some ‘gated community’. its privacy is more of a shared communal responsibility for a land mark. THE GATE THAT WAS DESTROYED WAS BEAUTIFUL AND WORTH THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS AND ITS DESTRUCTION IS FELONIOUS. No one will be called account for that gate but if a resident of the street added a few bricks to a wall on their own house without permission from the ‘historical commission’ THEY would be fined a huge fine. Finally, the residents of these streets chose to STAY in the city, despite crime etc. and restore and enhance the city and pay desperately needed taxes. By the way the great lover and expert on the private streets of St. Louis is Julius Hunter the local weatherman and much loved personality who wrote several gorgeous books on the private streets. Hunter is black.

What you describe is beautiful and true in many other cities too. In my hometown NYC beginning decades ago too, committed New Yorkers transformed the previous slums of Soho into exquisite lofts which gentrified the whole area. Those buildings too were historical gems.

Soros of messiah-complex, but plague from hell! Antisemitic personage come to villainous true life.

Not advocating this, but in Putin’s Russian Gangster State, seditious Soros would long-ago have been consigned to the nether-world, pushing-up-Daisies from his bed of corrupt plunder, dispatched from darkest self-delusion.

Imagine nightmare of a Radical Left criminal regime, exercised through puppet Biden the Corrupt. — AntiFa punks and BLM thugs would rule the lawless streets — and helpless suburbs. The Communist PARTY-like Red Guard militias would be unstoppable, apart Civil WAR organized uprising.

Pull-out-a-gun in home-family defense, against their roaming or rampaging menacing animal mob-packs: nightmare arrest (by People’s Police?), DA-indictment, (Peoples’?) court —financial ruin — probable imprisonment!

Any hapless children, become wards of unethical Biden’s Administrative State (indoctrination doomed)?

Bribery Biden / vicious Harris Administration would protect “criminals from honest citizens.”

It is indeed a sad day in America when a couple get arrested for defending their home from an angry mob that broke into their property, breaking down the front gate and screaming at the owners of the house.
Does anybody think they acting in any kind of wrong manner?. These BLM Marxist morons are lucky they didnt get shot.

I love how the “leader” of the protesters (criminals) said they were just peacefully passing by their house. Ya, right after the destroyed the gate to the gated community, which residents are only allowed in. And they just didn’t pass by the property, they trespassed onto their property, minor trespassing notwithstanding. And then the threats which included death threats to them… yep, that’s peaceful alright. Kinda hard to say your protest was peaceful when video shows otherwise. The fact that a grand jury indicted these guys is just disgusting! The left has absolutely lost their minds. The Democrats don’t care about the citizens, the people that are paying the taxes for their jobs!! And they’re all busy on the left trying to defund the police, basically defunding law and order, willing to let chaos reign, as seen in Seattle, and Portland… over 100 days of riots… yet the blame for it all is thrown at Trump. The law abiding citizen has less riots than then criminals. It’s disgusting. The Democrat politicians are disgusting, corrupt, immoral creatures, along with many of their party. It’s funny, because they see themselves as our benefactors, our saviors. As Pelosi chanted on her time talking with Blitzer, she nearly pounded on her chest defiantly, “WE represent them!”, over and over. “WE feed them!” It was a moment of brilliant clarity about who she thinks they are, and how they perceive themselves as a whole. Pretty much the same as dictators in a communist regime, propping themselves up, so they can receive all the adulation from their fans stuck living on welfare. They get in, and have enough power, we will turn into worse than a 3rd world country. They will pack the supreme court, open borders for everyone, no vetting, free money for everyone, no place for them to live, and police will keep on being defunded or abolished, the 2nd amendment will be abolished… life will turn into a dystopian nightmare, only it’s not some gun toting, wacked out Christian dude everyone is afraid of… it’s the Democrat dictators, and our country down the drain.
