New York City’s decline under Mayor Bill de Blasio should not surprise anyone. De Blasio has total disdain for everything that New York City represents. That is freedom, hope, happiness, creativity, wealth, opportunity, exceptionalism, and the American dream. Everything that made New York City the greatest city in the world. Bill de Blasio has accomplished what Osama Bin Laden couldn’t. The death of New York City as we know it. New York City desperately needs a Rudy Giuliani to run for mayor in 2021, so that the city could be saved and returned to it’s former glory.
Coronavirus sparks ‘insane’ evacuation from NYC, movers say, as residents head south

New York City, the metropolitan area hardest hit by the domestic coronavirus outbreak, is losing residents at an unprecedented clip, according to local moving companies.
Story continues below advertisementRoadway Moving President Ross Sapir, for example, told FOX Business that people are moving out of Manhattan in numbers he has “never seen before,” as his company deals with its busiest season since its 2008 inception.
“It’s insane … I’ve never seen such growth,” Sapir said. “[Business is] double or triple compared to any other season as far as moving out of the city.”
On some days, Roadway experiences a 200 percent increase in leaving inquiries. Its clientele consists largely of higher net-worth individuals, typically 25-year-old to 45-year-old professionals in well-to-do parts of Manhattan.
United Van Lines CEO Marc Rogers told FOX Business that the majority of residents moving out of Manhattan, 61 percent, are earning over $100,000. And those moving out also tend to be older – 64 percent are aged 55 or over – or in the 25 to 40 age range (25 percent).
“New York City is up very dramatically for May in … these leads for interest in moving,” Rogers said.
The New York market has seen a 40 percent uptick in interest for move-outs when compared with last year, according to data provided to FOX Business by United Van Lines. Those numbers far outpace national trends, which show an average increase of 8 percent during the same time period.
New York City moving company Oz Moving told FOX Business that while its overall workload decreased by 46 percent from March to April, moves out of New York City rose 12 percent between March and May. Meanwhile, moves within New York City were down 47 percent in April when compared with last year.
Consistent with the national data, Sapir said he has not seen activity anywhere near New York City levels in any of the other markets that his company serves across the country.

This is a DISASTER, but not for NYC.
It is a disaster for FLORIDA!
These NYC rejects, ALL OF THEM LIBERAL DEMOCRATS, will come here and VOTE DEMOCRAT, destroying Florida and turning it into NYC.
That’s what DemocRATS do: run away from what THEY destroyed, go elsewhere, and then destroy that, too.
Then the pattern repeats.

Montana has already been ruined by liberals. Missoula and Gallatin County come to mind. The two biggest State run universities are located in those places.
Missoula is an open sewer and Bozeman is not far behind it.

Late last week I heard Pam’s younger daughters, Claudia and Jackie, discussing moving out of NYC. They have about had it with the place. This was before the riots. I would never live in NYC or any other big city. I once lived in Oakland by Lake Merritt, and lived in Berkeley, too, as a Cal student. I love the mountains. My gold mine is in a remote corner of the Lost Sierra. The county has NEVER had a China Virus case. I’ll take our bears and lions and our Sasquatch. They don’t steal or plunder and loot. And I’ll take our bald eagles gliding over head, too. I get to walk around with a big iron on my hip and no one freaks out.

Do I have sympathy for New York ? The city in some respects is very much like many other large cities, very politically left wing. That they voted in a democrat/socialist governments and will suffer the consequences for doing so. New York is a perfect example of what happens with a socialist-communist government, so live with it ! I have no sympathy.
