Republican In Michigan Goes From Loser To Winner After ‘Technical Glitch’ Fixed. Officials Urge ‘Confidence’ In System

An incumbent Republican in Michigan went from losing his reelection race to winning it after officials discovered a “technical glitch” by which the results from seven precincts had been counted twice. Officials responded to the error by urging voters to have confidence in the system.

By: Daily Wire, November 9, 2020:

“Adam Kochenderfer, R-Rochester Hills, went to bed Tuesday night believing, with all precincts reporting, he had lost his seat on the 21-member Board of Commissioners to Democratic challenger Melanie Hartman by 104 votes — 19,448 to 19,344,” The Detroit News reported. “But there was a problem: According to Oakland County Clerk Lisa Brown, the total from seven precincts in the city had been reported twice.”

The final corrected count moved Kochenderfer from a 104-vote loss to a 1,127-vote victory.

“I thought that was that,” Kochenderfer said, according to the Detroit Free Press. “Those were the results, and I said I would not seek a recount.”

“Apparently, there was a technical glitch in Rochester Hills. And so I actually ended up winning by a little over 1,100 votes,” Kochenderfer continued. “I’m very grateful to the officials who caught the error, but we need to ensure that we catch these issues, or prevent them entirely.”

He added that people should not look at cleaning up how elections are operated as a “partisan” act.

City Clerk Tina Barton responded to the matter by stating, “This was an isolated mistake that was quickly rectified once realized. Every voter should have complete confidence in our voting system.”

“A computer issue in Rochester Hills caused them to send us results for seven precincts as both precinct votes and absentee votes. They should only have been sent to us as absentee votes,” Oakland County Director of Elections Joe Rozell said. “We noticed the local clerk’s mistake (on Thursday) and corrected it. The county canvass process works, and the correct results are now on our website.”

WXYZ Detroit posted a lengthy statement from Kochenderfer on the matter:

Well, this is awkward. I received a call from the Oakland County Elections Division this afternoon. There apparently was a technical glitch in several precincts. Instead of losing by 104 votes, I won by 1,127.

I’m a bit speechless (my wife probably has a joke about that), but I’ll do my best here. While I’m grateful for t he outcome, we should conduct a thorough review of our system to prevent this from happening again.

I’d like to thank the officials who caught the error and corrected the vote tabulation. And of course, thank you to the voters of our area for their support and confidence in me. It’s been and will continue to be an honor to serve you.

I’m also cognizant of the fact that my opponent has experienced the mirror image of my own roller coaster during the past 36 hours. Candidates and their families put countless hours into these elections. While we disagree on some topics, Dr. Hartman made excellent points during her campaign about the need to support mental health programs during this trying time. I invite her to work with me to explore ways we can boost mental health, particularly addressing frontline workers who may be facing a difficult winter as COVID cases continue to rise.

Thank you again for your support. Here’s hoping to a more normal 2021.

And no doubt, this “glitch” affected the rest of Michigan and the Trump vote.

Plus manufactured votes and delivered in the middle of the night.

I wonder if the votes tallied exceeded the number of ballots issued by the government offices. It would be simple to check.

And, lest we forget, Wisconsin had more votes counted than registered voters … over one million.

No. That’s a mistake from RealClearPolitics using the April 2019 numbers, not the November 2020 numbers. They did have more than 95% voter participation, which is insanely unheard of. It’s amazing that the states that had problems, and are still in play (and yes, WI, MI, NV and AZ are still in play as well as PA and GA (NC just got done and Trump won)) had the most amazing thing. Their voter percentages were 20-25% higher than any other states. Most states had 60-67% voter participation, but the troubled states are at 87-99% voter participation. The numbers violate every single modern standard. We have dramatic “weirdness” that we have states that have Trump and the Republican Senate candidate vote total difference roughly 1000-3000 difference, but Biden in those same states, having a gap of over 80,000-200,000 differences. Statistically impossible. But, the left wants us to believe we don’t have any fraud.

Trump’s legal team and the GOP are dangerously naive! They are still asking for donations when they should be declaring Martial Law.

Why is Trump playing along with obvious voter fraud? Trump is validating the Democrat dirty tactics hoping that ‘legal’ Trump votes will overcome ‘illegal’ Biden votes salted across America.

Win or lose he leaves the criminal Democrat machine intact and unpunished making more fake ballots!

This election should be thrown out completely and run again using “ONLY” Vote-In-Person rules next spring, …after the Seditious Democrat election officials are arrested.

Where is the DOJ and SCOTUS on this? Complicit?

Until a case is brought before them, the Supreme Court can do nothing. So, whether the Court is complicit or not, that remains to be seen.

On the other hand we KNOW that Fat Willy’s DOJ is complicit. Fat Willy is as crooked as a dog’s hind leg.

Not after what we’ve been seeing in all the democrat swing states. Elections in democrat states are for sure a “partisan act.” Just look at mexifornia!

So, the Republicans have gains in state legislatures. Gains in the House. Gains in Governorships. Gains in local races. One loss in the Senate. Trump somehow is “defeated” when magic mystery votes show up in 2 states with ONLY Biden on the ticket, and MANY more instances of fraud in the rest of the country, and you consider that a loss. Got it.

Paul Rivers
Paul Rivers

He didn’t. Nobody voted FOR Biden. The voters who actually voted (not the illegal votes) voted AGAINST Trump. That’s it. Your hatred may carry the day, but as noted above, most likely not as the legitimacy of your candidate’s “victory” is gravely in question.

After recounts and audits, there will be a legitimate winner. It could be Pedo Joe. Only if the recounts and audits are allowed will the American public know.

It, also, could be Russian interference. A wire transfer of Three and One Half Million U.S. Dollars, most assuredly, shows a deep Russian connection.

Perhaps, it’s time to bring The Mule out of mothballs and start an investigation.

$3.50 buys a lot of votes?

China Pedo Joe got a LOT from China. He also got massive support from FB, Twitter and the media. To take BLATANT evidence of the corruption from Joe and block it, act like it’s debunked when there are active investigations into criminal activities and more, is massive fraud to begin with.

Thanks for catching that. I left out the “Million” and have since corrected it.

If $25,000.00 worth of Facebook ads, supposedly purchased by the Russians, was enough foreign interference to swing the ’16 election …. How far will the widow of the former mayor of Moscow and her 3.5 Million swing it. If twenty-five thousand is enough to bring a three year investigation …. How long of an investigation will three million five hundred thousand buy?

“Back then” was twenty technological years ago – multiple quantum leaps.
We no longer dimple our chads.
Today’s machinery (supplied by George Soros through Nancy Pelosi’s husband – check it out) is much more widespread and sophisticated and subject to pre-planned fraud going in. As incoming evidence is revealed it strongly suggests a concomitant fraudulent technological tampering that favors Democratic candidates.
That’s putting it mildly.
If, after the election results are cleaned up, Biden is the winner, I’ll settle for that – but don’t think I’ll have to. Until then his coronation is premature at best, or more likely an orchestrated hoax designed to make his “election”seem incontravertable in the political media realm as consumed by an unsuspectiong public.
As for your labeling me/us as clearly stupid and delusional, with a baffled look on my face, my only bafflement is at your level of insolent duplicity.
And that’s putting it mildly, too.

Paul Rivers

This time there is not. Arizona, which Fox and AP and MSNBC called is still in play. They have over 60,000 votes outstanding, and military ballots which will be counted tomorrow, of over 10,000 and Biden’s “lead” has narrowed from 68,000 to 11,000. Most of the outstanding votes left to count were “day-of” which is heavily favoring Trump. That’s 11 of his 290 gone. That means 279. Then, there’s Nevada. It’s looking bad for the Biden camp now. That’s another 6. That means 273. Oh, and then there’s the corrupt bastion of Pennsylvania which may not be able to get through all the fraud cases and fixing the problems and eliminating the illegal votes (which there are over 800,000 outstanding disputed Biden votes due to many illegal acts) which takes him to 253. And then there’s Michigan, which has to be completely recanvassed, and so will most likely be turned around because the software “glitches” and the 138,000 phantom votes. That takes him to 237 and now we’re looking at Wisconsin which most likely will reverse after their 125,000 phantom ballots are looked at. When we say “phantom” ballots, that’s a batch of, in Michigan 138,000 and Wisconsin, 125,000 ballots that appeared as a bundle, dropped in at 4 am, and literally 100% were Biden. Nothing else. No dog catcher. No state senate, house, nothing. There is literally no way that is a valid batch of votes. That will reverse both those states clearly. So, now, he’s down to 227. Georgia, NC, MI, WI, AZ all go to Trump, and it’s over. The press and the left will have yet another complete meltdown. But, that’s too bad.
