Cuomo is such an egotiscial manic that he personally renamed the Tappan Zee Bridge, after himself. I refuse to call it the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge (3.9 billion dollars).
For us it will ALWAYS be the Tappan Zee Bridge. It was dubbed “Tappan Zee” after the area’s pre-colonial days: Tappan, after the Native American tribe, and Zee, the Dutch word for sea. It is a fitting name, as the bridge crosses the Hudson and one of its widest points.
Cuomo just erased history for self adulation. Never believe that DEMS have respect for Indians…. Red Skins being renamed…. it is ALL about erasing our history and replacing it with LIBERAL icons and other evil people like Lenin.
It’s an UGLY bridge too. I prefer the Tappan Zee Bridge. When you traveled on it, you could easily look over the side and see the river. You can’t do that with the replacement. It’s too high and ugly. In fact at night it is lite in a creepy way. The replacement should have kept its name and had a more pleasant design. Notice how liberals love UGLY designs….

The structures or art are always cold, very modern and ugly. There is never anything warm or human about them. I also point to “modern art”. It’s the same thing – it’s dehumanizing if you ask me….

Modern “art” dehumanizing (never thought about it that way). Also unnatural and irrational, the worst manifestations convey.

I remember as a kid, on a class trip, going to an art museum. I’d look at the “modern art” and just couldn’t see anything nice about it. The teacher would practically drool over it and I’d wonder, what was she seeing that I couldn’t see? Some of it looked like paint splattered on canvas or a Rorschach diagram. None of the modern “art” was art to me. It left me unsettled. I prefer traditional art that really is art!
I so agree with you! We love the four seasons. For fall it looks like God got out His paintbrush. The fall picture below is a common scene where we live and we enjoy each season. I just wish when it snowed and when it is icy, it would avoid the sidewalk, driveway and roads – LOL! I had always hoped to retire in New England but it’s too liberal up there…

I was a little kid when the TZ bridge was built. I lived in rockland county at the time. So it will always be the TZ bridge as far as I’m concerned.

Thank you! I didn’t know which bridge this was, but now I do! I remember touring NYC in 2001 and hearing about all the bridges, and the Tappan Zee bridge was one of them. Can’t believe they renamed the old Dutch guy’s bridge after the old Cuomo. They’re like muslims, tearing down stuff to replace with their own self idolatry.

There was a way were were supposed to remember the five bridges (as told to us by our ferry boat tourist guide, haha). I didn’t listen too well, sorry to say. Later I found out that my ancestors were among the first over from Hollland! Am descended from the first couple ever sent “up river” to Albany (before it was Albany). She was pregnant and when the Indians ate one of their party, they fled back down to Manhattan! Can you imagine?! Another ancestor owned property at Wall Street and Broadway! It was so exciting to see the connection to the New World and the brave souls who built NYC!!!

It’s psychologically comforting to know you are not alone in NJ for wanting Trump for President. I know there are pockets of us in the state but this is heartwarming.. If we had known, we’d have been there. If you are white, you feel like a foreigner that speaks a foreign language – English! So we stay in safe areas.

Let me psychologically compliment you on your state, which I’ve only recently learned more about because of my ancestry work. Most of us in flyover country maybe only know Newark (because of the airport) and have NO IDEA of the rich history of New Jersey, when it comes to settlement, colonial times and/or the American Revolution. My Dutch and Huguenot ancestors settled NJ in the 1600s and through the 1700s and from there spread out across America. I can’t read enough about NJ in Colonial days! Thank you for helping SAVE AMERICA by supporting this great president! Viva New Jersey!!!

Now wouldn’t that be something if a bunch of these “solid blue” states suddenly turned red? I don’t know what the average Democrat sees in the rioting and looting crowd among them. But they have to know that voting for Democrat control will lead to more of that since their party is the one with the radical Leftists… in other words, if the average Democrat (not one of these radical Leftists) will hopefully be just as appalled at the lawlessness fostered by their own leaders that they’ll choose Trump instead. Then we just might see all these “solid blue” states that were presumed to be in the Biden camp, flip for Trump.
I can’t actually imagine Hawaii, Commiefornia, Oregon or Washington flipping… but who knows…. miracles can happen… especially when God is on the move. I remember that being the set-up in the ’90s. I stopped following politics ’til Trump announced in 2015, actually Ben Carson. When I started watching FOX at this time the GOP was/is always referred to as “red” and I was confused. Perhaps it was in the ’90s that Lou Dobbs referred to Dems as commies and made the reference to “red” being communistic. The MSM was turning “red” and maybe that’s why they changed the meanings of “red” and “blue”.
