Last week, I reported on a immiment terror threat in the Toronto area. Police in the Greater Toronto Area had increased the number of officers at key tourist locations after receiving information that authorities deemed as a potential risk to public safety. A spokesperson says it’s too early to say whether the shooting is terrorism.
A woman is dead, and 13 others have been wounded after a gunman went on a shooting rampage in t in the “Greektown” part of Toronto .
Police say the gunman is also dead after “an exchange of gunfire with officers”.

A witness who was standing near the scene said he heard about 20 shots and the sound of the weapon being reloaded repeatedly.
Emergency services said victims were scattered over “many blocks”.
Police responded to reports of shots being fired hear the Brass Taps Pizza Pub.
The suspected shooter is confirmed to be dead. One child was among the nine people shot. No word on the condition of any of the victims, most of whom are being worked on right now by medical teams in two trauma units.

(CNN)Multiple people were shot outside of a Toronto, Canada, restaurant around 10 p.m. Sunday, Toronto police Sgt. Glenn Russell tells CNN.
The victims have been sent to trauma centers throughout the city, Russell says.
Eight people have been transported to various hospitals — six to trauma hospitals, one to a pediatric trauma center and one to a local hospital, Toronto Paramedic Services told CNN partner CTV. Two more people were to be transported from the scene to a local hospital — making it a total of 10 patients so far, the Canadian station reported.
A witness who was standing near the scene told CTV that he heard about 20 shots and the sound of the weapon being reloaded repeatedly.
“And then, I saw the carnage as I ran down the street here to kind of follow the gunfire,” the man told the station, who described the scene as “pretty crazy.”
“I saw at least four people shot,” he said.

Toronto Fire Services is assisting with efforts, Toronto Fire Capt. Adrian Ratushniak tells CNN.
Officials are expecting to issue a press release in the coming hours, according to police.

Just last week after multiple shootings and death in Toronto this year – the highest on record – delusional Mayor John Tory in equally delusional Toronto, assured us that Toronto is ‘still one of the safest cities in the world’. But just wait and watch the cover-up if it is found that the gunman was Muslim. Canada’s utterly useless media will all too readily support the cover-up.
I have many friends in Toronto. I first visited Toronto in 1999 and I was there last year. I was shocked how such a beautiful city has gone down hill. In cases such as this, automatically label it raghead terror. Then, work your way backwards through the evidence to see if anything discounts your theory. Nine out of ten times your original assumption will prove correct.

CBC reporting the shooter is white in his 30s. Looking at the vid, I see the Allahu Akhbar beard and a ME looking complexion.
It might be a step in the right direction. Because when more in the West understand that ALL muslims engage in some form of Jihad…. even if it’s just being Silent about islam’s Sharia intentions and islamic violence…. they will see that islam itself is a Mental Disorder and virtually all muslims are ’emotionally unbalanced’.

As to Canada – I think you understand the problem better than I do as a Texan. Sometimes when one is too close to a problem, one cannot see the forest, but I think you’ve got the forest nailed.
I would hesitate to speculate about specific local causes for what appears to be Canadian weakness in the face of a terrible threat. I can only say that I have worked with and studied with dozens of Canadians – and almost all of them struck me as terribly nice, decent, honest folks who would blindly walk into a No Go Zone without even bothering to say goodbye to their mother. The exceptions were Big Oil men who had seen the real world in the Mid-East and Africa.
In my experience, Canadians are just too decent to understand that people are not nice – unless they have struggled, fought, and worked to be nice. My Big Oil friends have told me their relatives simply do not believe them when they tell their stories – not the stupidity or the poverty, but the real evil they have seen.
Ironically, many of my non-Canadian Big Oil friends travel on fake Canadian passports – since Canadians were far more widely respected in those days (70s-90s) than the others in the Anglo-American alliance.
As to why Canadians specifically voted for Trudeau – and I think you have captured him very well: You tell me. Do you think voter fraud or the immigrant vote could be significant? Is it the schools? Are people so afraid they will ‘racist’ if they don’t vote for cultural suicide? Have folks lost faith in their wonderful nation? Or is it something else.

I appreciate and respect your insight on ‘Canadians’ and I believe your last paragraph pretty much sums it all up . I do believe the illegal/immigrant/refugee vote will make a difference because they vote liberal and the reason they vote liberal is because liberal governments pander to all of the above while completely ignoring we Canadians and giving these invaders the best, lions share and first dibs of all we have to offer while demonizing we canadians by calling us “racist’ Islamophobic” “neanderthals” and Nazis when we get angry, resentful and don’t agree with liberal agendas.

Once more we see that extremely restrictive gun laws make not one wit of difference in violent murderous incidents. All they do is to assure that law abiding citizens are unable to defend themselves in such life and death situations. Criminals will always be able to obtain the weapons they need to commit crime and terrorism, be it a gun, a knife, a club, a bottle of gasoline, a rental truck, or an explosive.
People have no options when they elect “leaders” who invite those who scream “death to f̲i̲l̲l̲ ̲i̲n̲ ̲t̲h̲e̲ ̲b̲l̲a̲n̲k̲” into your neighborhood.You need to vote out pacifists and vote in those who will make and pass laws to allow law abiding citizens to legally obtain and carry the defensive weapons needed. Such action does not lead to the movieland scenario of shootouts in the streets (which actually exists now with only the criminals carrying guns).
In the old west there were not actually bad guys taking over the town with guns blazing, because they knew the citizens of those towns would have picked up their own guns and stopped the problem before it even got started! Towns were places to get a good meal, get a bath, get a drink, not to stand at high noon and shoot it out with a town full of people strongly motivated to protecting their lives and property with the means to do it!
A lower crime rate, less violence, and less gun crimes … as can be observed by anyone living in the USA and not Canada.
Canada does not – yet – have the level of violence on its streets that we have. Only guns prevent the already high – and regrettably predictable – crime rate from skyrocketing.
The NRA documents instances of US citizens defending themselves w/firearms in every issue. Sometimes it’s the elderly or women who are defending themselves against younger men.

When they don’t flash a CLEAR picture of him on the news it concerns me.
That could indicate they already know who he is and down playing it.
If they don’t know who he is, why isn’t there a CLEAR still picture of him to help identify him?
He might also have ID on his person so why not say his name if that is the case.
