Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has an approval rating of 53% among voters in the state, with 42% disapproving, according to a Mason-Dixon Polling & Strategy survey released on Tuesday.

This represents a sharp rise from the 45% approval he registered in the same poll last July, when 49% disapproved of the job he was doing.

DeSantis is up for reelection next year, and the survey also shows that he holds solid leads in hypothetical matchups against two of his best-known potential Democrat opponents, state Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried and Rep. Chalie Crist.

Against Fried, DeSantis leads 51% to 42%, while versus, Crist the governor is ahead 52% to 41%.

DeSantis won the approval of conservatives over the past year by refusing to implement  the toughest coronavirus restrictions and backing former Preisdent Donald Trump’s approach to the pandemic, according to The Hill.

In a strawpoll conducted at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Orlando over the weekend, DeSantis came in second at 21% to Trump’s 55% when attendees were asked who they wanted for the GOP’s 2024 presidential nomination, according to Fox35 Orlando.

According to the Mason-Dixon poll, DeSantis also has the edge among independent voters for the 2022 governor race.

Against Fried, DeSantis leads 58% to 29% among voters without a party affiliation, while among the same group versus Crist, the governor leads 60% to 28%.

The Mason-Dixon poll is based on responses from 625 registered Florida voters from February 24-28 and has a margin of sampling error of +/-4 percentage points.

Governor DeSantis is our best hope of taking back our country, that is, IF CONSERVATIVES CAN ALSO TAKE BACK CONGRESS IN 2022.

Forget about MIKE PENCE, the TRAITOR of all CONSTITUTIONAL CONSERVATIVES who believe that it is up to STATE LEGISLATURES TO RULE ON FEDERAL/STATE ELECTIONS. PENCE IS A RINO, JUST LIKE GEORGE W BUSH WAS AND THAT JUST MEANS THAT HE IS A MODERATE OR AT WORST, LEFT OF MIDDLE.
