It is extremely dangerous for John Kerry to have such political power. That is because he is a moron. John Kerry caused significant damage to America’s credibility as secretary of state. He will cause even more damage to America’s middle class families as President Biden’s climate czar. Read Dan Crenshaw’s tweets below.
Devastating fact check here for John Kerry.
President Biden claims energy jobs being wiped out can just be “replaced” by wind and solar jobs. This is wrong.

— Dan Crenshaw (@DanCrenshawTX) February 2, 2021
“Wind turbine jobs are projected to go up by 4,300, from 7,000 to 11,300 in 10 years. The solar installer jobs are projected to go up 6,100, from 12,000 to 18,100. That’s a total increase of just 10,400 jobs.”
Fastest growing, huh?
— Dan Crenshaw (@DanCrenshawTX) February 2, 2021
“BLS has a convenient list of the 30 occupations with the most projected job growth. No. 1 is home health and personal-care aides — with a projected gain of nearly 1.2 million jobs. Nurse practitioners show up in 13th place. But wind and solar jobs don’t make the cut at all.”
— Dan Crenshaw (@DanCrenshawTX) February 2, 2021
“In fact, when we tried to find solar and wind on another BLS list — jobs ranked by projected annual openings through 2029 — we had to scroll past about 600 occupations before we landed on solar installers”
— Dan Crenshaw (@DanCrenshawTX) February 2, 2021
Kerry’s misleading framing of potential solar and wind jobs
By Washington Post, February 2, 2021
— John F. Kerry, special presidential envoy for climate, in remarks at the White House, Jan. 27, 2021“Before covid, the fastest-growing job in the United States of America was solar panel technician, and the second-fastest-growing job was wind turbine technician.”
— Kerry, remarks on MSNBC, Jan. 28
This is clearly the favorite talking point of the former secretary of state, now tasked to spearhead President Biden’s efforts to build international support to mitigate climate change.
When we go to the BLS webpage listing the fastest-growing occupations, we find that first place shows “wind turbine service technicians,” with a projected gain of 60.7 percent, second place is “nurse practitioners,” at 52.4 percent, and third place is “solar photovoltaic installers,” at 50.5 percent.
Okay, so Kerry has been bungling his talking point a bit. Wind is before solar, not vice versa, and those professions are projected to be the first- and third-fastest-growing jobs, not first and second. (A State Department spokesman pointed out that in the 2018-2028 projections, solar was first, followed by wind turbine jobs.)
[the_ad id=”110283″]
For the purposes of this fact check, we’re more interested in how many jobs are represented by those percentages. After all, at the White House, Kerry mentioned these statistics in the context of coal mining jobs — “The same people can do those jobs” — which before the pandemic amounted to about 50,000 jobs (and about 30,000 below surface). Could these solar and wind jobs match that number?
In sum, no.
Wind turbine jobs are projected to go up by 4,300, from 7,000 to 11,300 in 10 years. The solar installer jobs are projected to go up 6,100, from 12,000 to 18,100. That’s a total increase of just 10,400 jobs — leaving 20,000 coal workers still toiling in the mines. (Oops, we got a bit carried away with our language in an earlier version of this article, so have corrected the previous sentence. The 50,000-figure refers to all workers in the coal-mining industry; there are a little over 30,000 workers who work underground.)

Secession needs to happen.
The left have shown they can lie cheat and steal without facing consequence.
They will do so every election and destroy the economy.
The only other solution is not pleasant.
Secession must be pushed for first.
When the left/rinos refuse to let people peacefully go their own way it will make allot of people realize the only other option.
If there was any hope it isn’t by that….wait and see.
By then we won’t have any self defense and totally invaded.
The longer they are in power, the more difficult if not impossible it will be to dislodge them. This kind of thing has to be done immediately and when they are in flux. It’s borderline too late already…
BTW, the imbecile is putting illegal abandoned kids back in cages at our southern border again. Not a whimper of concern from the media. Expect more gangs.
Secession or slaughter half the nation to purge the leftists.
Those are the only options that would change anything because the leftist areas are beyond saving.
This traitor and gigolo should go overdose on his rich wife’s Heinz ketchup and stuff it!
He betrayed Americans in Vietnam worked for Viet Kong and should have been in jail without parole.
His rich parents bailed him out.
” Rich woman’s kept husband! ” Geller Report Staff, I’m in love with you!
Not enough land in the world to go green. Need 115 – 130 Cincinnat sized wind farms just to power Cincinnat. But even still you need power plants for when the wind dies.
It’s science.
What is hidden by this solar and wind rhetoric is the loss of real manufacturing jobs in the US and jobs related to the infrastructure. Comparing the last 21 months of the Obama administration with the first 21 months of Trump’s, shows that under Trump’s watch, more than 10 times the number of manufacturing jobs were added. Beijing Biden can’t do that!
The REAL issue is why a traitorous dog is permitted to assume ANY of the positions Swift Boat Kerry has!

And where do you think all the electricity to power electric vehicles will come from? Right, from a coal or gas-fired generating station.
Thanks for the pics. I served in Vietnam and Kerry is a POS and a disgrace to his Naval Service
Agreed. I also served there (VQ-1, Da Nang) and WH press secretary Psaki belittling the US Space Force is right in line with the shabby treatment we endured on our homecoming.
For the longest time the popular phrase “Thank you for your service” sounded like sarcasm to me.
ditto!
Navy should have charged this POS with treason and collusion with the enemy.
John Kerry may be the lowest scum on this planet, even lower than Biden!
The Kerry/Biden/Obama Solarwind Energy Project named BLOWIND will Create
more than 10.000 new jobs at a initial cost of 100 Billion Dollars
funded by Government Grants in association with private chinese donors..
John Kerry has tapped Hunter Biden as executive CEO of Blowind and when
pressed on reason why? Czar Kerry responded, “Because the Big Man(joe
biden) says of Hunter, He is the smartest man I know!’
Think Hunter will be “smart” enough to keep his clothes on and resist taking nekkid selfies with bare-@$$ underage girls?
Me neither.
One of which is another presidents daughter, while doing a line with her credit card with signature in plain sight!
I hate Kerry so much I’d still vote for W if the election were today.
Wind and solar are too expensive. The only way that they can make it viable is to drive up costs of our current power sources.
They are useless
Exactly! Follow the money.
There was a story published last weekend. Might have been the NY Times. I’m not sure. I read it re-posted.
It was written by a man who had dreams of living the “van life.” Sell most of his stuff, buy a van, and live the romantic life of a modern gypsy. Go where the road takes you. Enjoy the beauty of nature. Be one with the world.f
You know, the bullsh*t that communists derive their power from. Lies that people believe, purely based on their feelings – many of which are based on Hollywood.
Of course the soyboi was completely shocked to find that he was effectively a eunuch, with no actual man-skills and even less intelligence. He couldn’t get anything to work. It didn’t occur to him that he was going to have to poop in a bucket (aka “composting toilet,” which is another example of the profound idiocy of these idiots… it’s a bucket of poo, with a lot of pee thrown in just to make sure that you puke when you move it).
He was a total and complete and predictable failure, because he is a total and complete idiot. A product of NYC, 2021.
These are the people that Johnny Ketchup is talking to. If you don’t think that they believe him, you’re more stupid than they are.
Tell me, what does a Tyrannasaurus Rex look like when it chases prey? Does it have its mouth WIDE open, with angry eyes, normally shown from an angle where the prey (humans) are in the foreground, running, while T-Rex is 50 or so yards behind, screaming and chomping?
Yes? You have that image? You’ve seen it 50 times, right?
So… tell me… in real life, what predator roars/barks/etc. while running down prey? Even a shark doesn’t open his mouth until the last second, when the prey is “right there.” By the time the lion or tiger or bear open their mouth, you’re basically in their grasp.
When they are chasing you? They are running. That’s their whole focus: pursuit. Not sound, not anything else. Just pursuit.
Yet ask any of these idiots this question and they will tell you – with great certainty – that a Raptor screams while he chases you. He has his mouth open, threateningly, waaaay before he chomps.
Because Stevie Spielberg says so, and we believe him.
They believe Johnny Ketchup. The fact that he’s wrong? Impossible. If he’s wrong, then they are idiots… just like van-man.
They will even rationalize it. They’ll call it a “learning experience,” because to say “I was too lazy, and too stupid, and too selfish to actually think about it beforehand” would paint them as the idiots they are…
…and that ain’t gonna happen.
This is the fundamental threat. The idiots don’t care what intelligent people think. They have each other, and that’s enough.
John Kerry is no more than a gigolo in private life and his political career. This man is minus any moral compass, as are his comrades of the so-called Democrats. The latter, of course, is of the same political nefariousness as Kerry. Kerry is the quintessential ‘yes’ man; there are other definitions that befit him, but I’ll leave that to others’ imaginations.
Jobs within the apparent wind and solar power will not replace or reinstate the abundance of jobs lost because of the Democrats’ delusional green policies. Even now, unemployment is massive in the oil industry, and industries and services dependent upon it is escalating. Lies, deceptiveness propagated by Kerry and his comrade chimpanzees is a ruse that will create a nation of the jobless, the likes of which it has not witnessed. He and his innocuous Democrats, however, do not give a damn; it is part-and-parcel of their sinister machination to turn America into a Banana Republic. The Democratic Party is no more or less the dregs of the political barrel (I include some Republicans) that feigns ‘Democratic’ edicts while violating the Constitution and ‘We the People.’ America is no longer a Constitutional Republic but well on the pathway to tyrannous totalitarianism.
It’s a Solyndra repeat with a higher price tag.
Expect no “shovel ready” jobs unless you go to work for a cemetery.
The main reason that Kerry is wrong is missed by the above commenters. The government can pay anything it wants to solar installers. The problem is where does it get the money from? There are 3 possible sources, taxes, borrowing and printing money. What happens if you tax? If you tax consumers that’s less money they have to purchase goods. That means less money going to the makers of goods which means less jobs for people who make goods. If you tax corporations they have less money to buy raw materials and less money to pay salaries which means less jobs for people who work for corporations. What if you tax the rich people. Rich people are both consumers and investors. Less consumption and less investing means fewer jobs. The same consequence “fewer jobs” applies if you print money or borrow. In the case of printing money you create inflation which means money is worth less than it was which has the same effect as taking away people’s money with taxes. So in these 2 cases the jobs you create are offset by the jobs you lose. If you replace jobs that produced energy for less money that is the equivalent of throwing out money so the result is as explained above fewer total jobs. Borrowing can cause a temporary situation where there is an increase in total jobs, but when the bill comes due, you have to pay interest and the bill. Borrowing leads to future unemployment.
And we can name this new company Solyndra! — John Kerry.
What does one expect from a man that perjured himself in front of Congress decades ago when he made claims of atrocities by Americans in Vietnam that were proven false and from a guy that only served in Vietnam for 90 days and rec’d FIVE Purple Hearts which is one every 18 days !!!!!
De Oppresso Liber! When do we start at home?
Kerry doesn’t really care – what Kerry is really saying is anyone outside of those small increases in employment is superfluous – a waste of skin to be eliminated as non-essential. Kerry words are just a Fascist moron’s words looking to buy time before the final solution. Kerry gave it all away, Obama must be so mad..
John Kerry is a disgusting worthless POS liar and traitor, One of the worst to ever hold any office in this nation. Any POS appointing him to any position is just worse! The world will be a much better place when he is what he looks like. Kerry has ABSOLUTELY NO SOCIAL REDEEMING VALUE!
Oh, the same John Kerry that scammed the State of Massachusetts out of $500,000 in sales tax and $70,000 a year in excise tax on the $7,000,000 yacht “Isabel”? Seems like a fine, outstanding individual to me…..
Oh, and don’t forget the time he had a fire hydrant in front of his Louisburg Square Mansion moved away from the front of it. Another shot at the actual taxpayers.
