Democratic Majority for Israel PAC endorses Raphael Warnock, who is under fire for his past Israel views

The Democratic Majority for Israel’s political action committee, which reflects centrist pro-Israel views, is endorsing Raphael Warnock in his bid to unseat Republican Sen. Kelly Loeffler in Georgia.
The endorsement comes as Loeffler steps up her attacks on Warnock, a prominent Atlanta pastor, for past sermons in which he was sharply critical of Israel.
Warnock has clarified his positions on Israel after critics began drawing attention to his past comments, which also included a letter in which he joined other Black ministers in summarizing their takeaways from a trip to Israel last year.
Speaking to a different Democratic group, the Jewish Democratic Council of America, on Tuesday, Warnock said he rejects describing Israel as an apartheid state, condemns the boycott Israel movement, and now has a greater understanding of the threat that Hamas’s control of the Gaza Strip poses to Israel. He also says he backs existing levels of defense assistance to Israel, separating himself from a group of party progressives who want to condition aid to Israel on its adherence to U.S. policy.
Now, the Democratic Majority for Israel PAC has endorsed him, weeks before a pivotal runoff election that could alter control of the Senate.
“As a United States senator, Rev. Warnock has committed to upholding the historic 10-year Memorandum of Understanding negotiated by the Obama-Biden Administration, which secured $38 billion in security aid for Israel, the largest such agreement between our two nations,” Mark Mellman, the PAC’s president, said in a statement first obtained by the Jewish Telegraphic Agency.
“Reverend Warnock has rightfully condemned the Boycott, Divest, and Sanctions (BDS) movement for its refusal to acknowledge Israel’s right to exist and its anti-Semitic overtones,” Mellman added.
In 2018, Warnock in a sermon at his Atlanta church, Ebenezer Baptist, lashed out at Israel for directing its snipers to open fire at protesters on the Gaza border. In 2019, after a visit to Israel, he signed a statement that criticized Israel and likened circumstances in the West Bank to Apartheid-era South Africa’s occupation of Namibia. The statement did not liken Israel to an apartheid state.
Loeffler repeatedly brings up the past statements in her attacks. Warnock, in turn, has noted Loeffler’s flirtations with the far right. That has included joint appearances with a newly elected House member who is a proponent of the QAnon conspiracy theory, which has anti-Semitic undertones.
Georgia is holding two runoff elections for the U.S. Senate on Jan. 5. Warnock is campaigning with Jon Ossoff, a Jewish Democrat who is also seeking to oust an incumbent Republican, David Perdue. Both parties see the races as critical; if Democrats win both, they will assume control of the Senate, which will give president-elect Joe Biden greater freedom to pursue his initiatives. Democrats maintain control of the U.S. House of Representatives.

If this vile man is elected to the Senate I’d bet the farm that he’d revert to his previous anti-Israel sentiments. AND (unfortunately) Jewish leadership would STILL support him on the misguided premise that ‘he just needs to be educated.” For a tribe reputed to have such high intellect, it’s amazing how Jews continue to make the same mistake over and over again. Whether it’s misplaced optimism or selective hearing we never seem to learn…..

During the mid century Civil rights era, many Jews risked their lives fighting for black civil rights. With minor exception, the response from Black America was and continues to be contempt and an utter lack of gratitude.
Today Black America perpetuates more anti-semitism than any other group besides white supremacists.
Don’t blame this on the church. it’s just good old fashioned envy. Blacks resent the success that Jews have enjoyed in modern America. Instead of engaging in some introspection, blacks play the race card and have “convinced” themselves that Jewish accomplishment is the product of their white privilege and not due to a focus on education, family and faith.
There aint no fix for chronic ignorance and hate.

It’s certainly true that Blacks resent Jewish success, but there’s more to it than that, unfortunately.
Progressives, and certainly progressive Blacks not only resent Jews – they despise them.
Unfortunately, many Jews reinforce this contempt by kissing up to them – as has occurred in this endorsement of Warnock, an obvious anti-Semite.
This is consistent of course, with the support “Black Lives Matter” enjoys from many parts of the Jewish community.
After the death of career criminal George Floyd, “…the largest sustained burst of synagogue vandalism took place in Los Angeles. The Fairfax area was heavily targeted by the rioters who, in addition to looting stores, defaced multiple synagogues, including the aforementioned Congregation Beth Israel, Beit Medrash Kehilat Yaakov (Congregation of Jacob), the synagogue of Rabbi Gershon Bess, the most important Jewish religious leader in the city, as well as Congregation Tiferes Tzvi and the Young Israel of Hancock Park. Three religious schools, Bais Yaakov School for Girls, Bnos Devorah High School, and Ohr Eliyahu Academy, were also vandalized.”
None of this was sufficient to dissuade prominent Jewish organizations from endorsing “Black Lives Matter,” whose rioters defaced Beth Israel’s walls with graffiti reading, “F___ Israel” and “Free Palestine.”
Trump, on the on the hand, broke his “tuchus” defending Jewish interests – and was despised anyway.
The Jews in America are, and will be the authors of their own undoing.

Suffice it to say, for purposes of a short comment, that Blacks not only resent Jews – they also despise them.
Indeed, when you start off despising a group, any “success” become suspect.
And why shouldn’t they?
The Jews reinforce this contempt by kissing up to them – as they have here in endorsing Warnock; as they have done regarding “Black Lives Matter,” as they have done all along.
Trump, on the on the hand, broke his “tuchus” defending Jewish interests – and they despised him anyway.
If there hadn’t been a Charlottsville comment to misinterpret, they would have invented it out of whole cloth.

WHY are these ego tripping Negroes, like Warnock, (Warlike), always screaming about who wants a ONE State solution, as that has been the belief of HAMAS since forever, and why are any of those Negroes all screaming about Politics while in a Church, as perhaps they didnt learn about the separation of Church and State, but then they also didnt learn that if they believe the “right of return” for the original inhabitants of that land, then that would be the Jewish, and Christian people, as they lived there long before Muhammad was even born, in fact his Grandparents were not even born, and it was muslims that conquered, killed, slaughtered and deported the ORIGINAL inhabitants of that Land, so they should engage their History books before operating their mouths.
