Banner and flag supporting Israel were hung on a bridge over a busy Tehran road after the assassination of Iran’s top nuclear scientist.

A video and pictures of an Israeli flag and a banner reading “thank you Mossad” went viral on social Media Tuesday after they were hung on a bridge over a busy thoroughfare in the Iranian capital of Tehran.

The flag and banner were spotted Monday evening on what appears to be a pedestrian bridge over a six-lane major road in Tehran’s Pars neighborhood, where scores of cars stopped in busy traffic would have noticed the flag and the English language banner below it.

Video clips and pictures of the flag and banner were widely circulated on social media following reports that unknown individuals had hung the flag and banner across a bridge over a boulevard, partially covering a billboard for a low-sugar and calcium-rich drink.

“A finger in the eye,” tweeted Israeli journalist Ronen Bergman, who authored a book on the history of the Mossad, Israel’s spy agency that Iranian leaders blame for the assassination two weeks ago of their top nuclear scientist.

“Someone in Iran is trying to take advantage of the momentum of the assassination of [Mohsen] Fakhrizadeh … in the heart of Tehran,” Bergman said.

The Israeli flag is a banned in Iran except for its use in government organized anti-Israel demonstrations where the flag is burned or trampled on while crowds loyal to the Islamic Republic chant “death to Israel.”

Although Israel has not commented officially on the assassination, it is widely believed to have had a hand in the killing. Iranian officials claim it was carried out by a satellite-controlled machine gun using advanced artificial intelligence that shot several bullets into Fakhrizadeh.

The bridge incident is not the first time the Israeli flag has been used by Iranians in an act of defiance against the totalitarian government.

In January, a video circulated online showing Iranian university students defiantly walking around giant Israeli and American flags that were painted on the ground, in order not to step on them.

I get the feeling that the rule of the mullahs is about to be coming to an end, and freedom is in sight of the Iranians.

That’d be nice, but I think it will be bloody. The more so as the mullahs lose more and more ground.

Agreed, the Revolutionary Guard is exactly that, and unless they turn on their masters which is unlikely as they prosper under the regime, a great many people will be killed

Yeah, political forces, like the SS, were/are a tough nut to crack.
But in the end, even the Waffen-SS ended up on Hitler’s s=== list, because they couldn’t provide the miracles that AH needed.

Pfft! The concept of freedom is antithetic to islam, as long as islam holds sway over the people.

Freedom and islum go together like peanut butter and sardines and for proof of this allah we have to do is look at the muslum states that belong to the OIC — allah of them are totalitarian, fascist, religious apartheid states.

Biden did not get that memo. He’s planning on breathing new life into the mullahs. You can always count on Leftists to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

This would confirm a theory I long held, that the assassinations were carried out by Iranians opposed to the regime.
Perhaps they had outside help, but there’s no way the Mossad or CIA themselves could burrow so deep into Iran, have a foothold for so long, and carry out so many effective attacks against Nuclear scientists inside Iran.
Iranians hate the Mullah’s, and it shows!

That takes courage, if the protestors are caught I can’t imagine them getting a lenient sentence considering an Iranian woman got 4 years for daring to post a video of herself dancing on instagram.

Alas, Israel is not the same as before it was (under Menachem Begin, for example) . . Israeli politicians behave too much like American RINO and some European politicians (fortunately not identical, but similar). In any case, the right-wing politicians are trying to find a compromise with the left and this factor affects everything, including MOSSAD.(Israel is babysitting the Palestinians, for example.Israel did not consider to revise this terrible agreement, which was concluded in Oslo.It is not the way that leads to peace in this region.) It is very dangerous in the conditions where Israel is located. If it turns out that the Mossad is behind the actions, I will be very happy.I really want Israel to stop playing giveaway with the international community.. I dream that Israel will become strong, again. But I think that in the modern Middle East there are a lot of people who want to kill the nuclear program in Iran. IN THIS ISSUE I AM ON THEIR SIDE

No Arab Persian Gulf country wants Iran to have nukes with which to bully them around. That may have been a catalyst as to why the Arabs are starting the diplomatic moves with Israel, because only Israel has the means to take out the trash in Iran…..?….

I would also be happy about the revolution in Iran and the overthrow of Ayatollahs. Although I understand that Iran is not the only hot spot in this region. There is no the reliable country, except Israel. For example, Turkey is not reliable

Yes, you are quite right. That would be awesome for world peace if Iran was without the Ayatollahs. Turkey is, and has been, troublesome. They would not let their ally, the US, stage out of the NATO/US airbase at Incirlik during the 2003 Iraq war. They turned down $5 billion, as well. They’re even worse now, openly hostile to Israel, like during that Gaza trouble.

In general, Islamic countries are not prosperous and unpredictable (all of them ). And it is all not only because of the fact that they profess Islam. Although this fact is the first, since religion is much more dangerous than ideology, religion leaves very deep imprints in the minds of people. But also because no one has canceled the usual human vices in the minds of the rulers, whose rule is taking place in a world where democracy is unacceptable, where no one controls such rulers. In the Islamic world, secular rulers are also very dangerous. So no agreement can be trusted

I think that Islam inhibits emotional and intellectual growth. A simplistic thought, but it’s more time than I care to spend thinking about them. They seem to be a huge hate group.

Yep. The biggest threat to our democracy. But the Texas, and other state’s support along with the SC, should fix this. Next is strong legislation to prevent this from ever happening again.

Good luck with that. Elections are controlled at the state and county level and leftists have a stranglehold on the cities and surrounding counties where the fraud was perpetrated.

I was thinking that the Constitution overrides individual state’s views, but it hasn’t been able to deal with the sanctuary status of local governments. Obviously local governments don’t have jurisdiction over citizenship, but they’ve gotten away with that. SO, this new threat to our Republic may force THAT issue, as well, eh?

Whoever does it he is a hero. I am also pleased that there are people in Iran who understand it. And else thereare normal people who can respectfully treat Israel . It means that there are still people who are not immersed in this inhuman religion which is founded by Muhhamat ( a military criminal, an anti-Semite and a padophile).
But for some reason I am not convinced that this was done by the MOSSAD organization. However, if the MOSSAD did it, it’s cool.

Israel may have provided important technical support to the operation but it was carried out 100% by native Iranians. The government leaders do not want to acknowledge local dissent.
